LOCATED IN SEA ISLE, GALVESTON, TEXAS

Our home is a newly remodeled canal home that offers top of the line appliances, travertine floors & showers, and beautiful granite counter tops. It is a perfect get away for small families or friendly groups. The house is ideally located on a canal in Sea Isle Community, west end of Galveston Island, within walking distance to the beach and a short drive to the attractions in Galveston (see Other Attractions).

The house offers an open floor plan that connects the living room and kitchen. This makes it a perfect space for entertaining. The kitchen has top of the line appliances and is fully furnished with all cooking needs. The living room comfortably seats 8-adults and has a 50-inch flatscreen TV, Basic Cable, and a DVD/BluRay-player. The stereo is connected to the TV for surround sound and also has a CD player, and AUX-plug to connect an IPOD or Smart phone.

This is a 2-bedroom+1-loft and 2-bath home. The master bedroom has a queen bed, and a private master bath with a luxurious shower to relax in at the end of a fun day in the sun. The second bedroom also has a queen sized bed. The third sleeping area is an open loft with 2-queen beds that is perfect for a family or bedding for the kiddos. The living room has a sectional for ample comfort and seating as well as a sleeper soft. The second bathroom is located off the main living area and is easily accessed by all guest.

The outdoor area of the property is as inviting and comfortable as the indoors. There are 2-upstairs decks: one overlooks the canal and has a picnic table for dining, playing cards, or socializing. It can be shaded over during the day with large umbrellas. The second deck is off the bedrooms and is perfect for watching the sunset. The downstairs area is spacious and completely shaded with Adirondack chairs, a teak bar w/ stools, and a swing for great relaxation.

The home has a boat slip with a lift available for use, a deck for fishing, and a ladder for easy swimming access into and out of the canal. There is an underwater halogen light for night time fishing or fish watching.

This is our Oasis Away from Home, and we are excited to be able to share. We ask that you respect our home as you would your own. For your convenience, a washer and dryer is available in the downstairs storage area.

Sea Isle is located about 15-miles from the Galveston Sea Wall. The community of Sea Isle offers a lighted fishing pier, childrens playground, tennis courts, boat launch area, bait shop, outdoor bar and a fabulous restaurant (call early for reservations). It is ideally situated for great canal, bay (West Bay), surf, or deepwater fishing. There is also great bird watching all year long. If you are looking for family fun, a romantic or friendly get away, or are a serious sportsman, this house is a perfect refuge.

Great place!

Patrice was quick to answer our request to stay there starting that evening and she quickly got everything done for our convenience. Very comfortable house right on the canal. My husband and family did a lot more fishing than they were planning due to the perfect set up downstairs on the deck. Really enjoyed our stay!

Can't beat it

Our family has stayed at many different locations here at Sea Isle and this is our favorite one to date. Even though it's a beach house who says you have to compromise amenities. The property has recent updates inside and out which really appeal to our needs. Being able to fish off the canal at night with the use of the underwater lighting is great. The beach is just across the road for the most part and the marina is a must for fishing needs. Having the ability to stay at the beach all day and then be able to get cleaned up and head out for dinner at one of the two restaurants located at Sea Isle is unbeatable. Don't forget to catch the sunset at the bayside pier, you can't beat it.

Beautiful home in the perfect location!!

We loved staying at this home! It had plenty of room with all the amenities we needed! The marina/restaurant and bar had great food and a fun atmosphere for the kids and adults. Would highly recommend anyone to stay and enjoy this lovely home. We will definitely rent this one again!

Wonderful getaway house! Has everything you need and is very clean.

Very comfortable house on the bay. Great island kitchen to sit around and eat or play games. The house was very clean with fresh towels and linens. The kitchen has anything you will need to cook your own meal. Great upper deck and lower patio area to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air. We will definitely go back!

Excellent Choice!

I cant say much more about this place, its as advertised. The recent remodel was very nice, it was clean and comfortable for my family. The lower deck along the canal has a nice seating area with a swing and a constant cool breeze coming off the water. The added touch of a high chair for my 7 month old daughter was very nice, thanks again Brian.

Our home is located on a canal that offers immediate access to water to enjoy swimming, boating, fishing, crabbing, and throwing a cast net. The neighborhood offers a convenient store, the West End Marina for bait & provisions, and the West End Restaurant & Sand Bar for food and libations. The nearest full service grocery w/ gas is Seven Seas, 6-mi east (toward Galveston). The house is located about 15-miles from the Galveston Seawall & Historic Downtown/Strand. The Seawall offers Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn Waterpark, Pleasure Pier Amusement Park, restaurants, and bars. The historic district offers museums, historic homes, and delicious restaurants and bars.
