About Lynda Sheldon
Property is owned by an Arizona native who grew up on the west side of Phoenix.
Lynda Sheldon purchased this Cabin in 2005
Cabin was clean and cozy with a well equipped kitchen, washer and dryer.
We enjoyed our stay at “The Cabin” very much. We visited in late March and were pleasantly surprised to wake to freshly fallen snow and continued flurries. Booking was easy and response to e-mails were done in a timely manner (very quick turnaround). We hope to stay again in the future.
We spent February at "The Cabin" to escape at least a portion of the North Dakota winter. It was a great choice. We definitely appreciated the large fenced yard, but not half as much as the 'woofers'. The younger dog definitely had a good time running circles around the yard. We found the house comfortable and well-stocked with all the necessities, including a crock pot, electric griddle, and grill. It was great to be able to grill outdoors in the winter! The bedroom was large and had plenty of drawer space so we could unpack. The cabin was clean and tidy, and the caretaker came weekly to collect the trash. We're not much for building fires, but if we were, I don't think Bob would have let us run out of firewood. I would recommend the Petrified Forest, a place full of marvels, as well as the local park and Sitgreave Forest, where we were lucky enough to encounter a wild horse herd. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable cabin for a getaway, I can heartily recommend "The Cabin." Summer visitors would be better able to take advantage of the fire pit in the yard and the deck.
Awesome cabin and yard!!!
Have stayed here several times. Perfect yard for the dogs to run around and not worry because of the fence. Fire pit was great during the day as we were surprised with the perfect amount of snowfall blanketing the town. Kitchen is spacious for cooking and conversation. Woodburning stove in the living room makes everything even cozier at night.
Thanks again for letting us enjoy the tall pines and your property.
Bedroom with twin beds NOT GOOD
It was a nice cabin. My suggestion would be to make the 2nd bedroom a queen or king bed. It was a couples trip the other couple took the master bedroom. I couldn't believe we ended up with the kids room. Having 2 twin beds instead of a queen or king was a nightmare. I couldn't sleep with my husband, and I haven't slept in a twin since I was a kid.
Our 2nd time at this beautiful cabin did not disappoint!
This was our second visit to Lynda’s beautiful cabin. And this will not be our last! We wanted to end 2017 in a peaceful way and the cabin was the perfect way to do so. The porch is heaven...we spent a majority of our time there. My daughter loved climbing and hanging out in the trees. She read her books and played on her phone in her favorite sitting tree. The dogs played all day in the huge fenced in yard. When I think of calmness and peace I think of this cabin. It is stocked with everything you need. Just bring the food and your clothes and you’re set. Although there was no snow it was still cold and the cabin is kept warm in many ways. The fire pit outside was perfect and the fire burning stone inside was so nice at the end of a cold day. Lynda was great to work with and was quick to respond to our questions. Just an overall awesome experience. 2018 was started off right! We will be back as soon as we can. Thanks again Lynda!
We thought it was great and we loved the fenced in yard for both dogs and kids
We had a great family Christmas vacation
