The Cabin has plenty of space with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, eat-in kitchen family area, and laundry room. The living room features a wood burning stove, ceiling fans and big screen TV with DVD player. Each bedroom features a TV and DVD player, ceiling fan, closet and dresser space. The front porch is the perfect place to sit and watch the world go by while reading or sipping your favorite drink.

Outdoor features include horseshoes, and fire pit with circular seating. A fence encloses the property making it pet-friendly.

The perfect option for hunters - use the Cabin as your base camp. Return from hunting all day to a hot shower, warm meal, and clean bed at night. Plenty of parking for multiple vehicles.

The Cabin is located in a semi-residential neighborhood with permanent and weekend residents; therefore, it is expected that noise be kept to a minimum and does not continue after 10:00 p.m.

Awesome cabin.

Love this neat clean cabin and all the summer storms. I couldn't ask for a nicer place to stay. Just bring food and clothes and enjoy!

DECEIVED BY OWNER~Awful Experience~Tries to make something terrible seem great!~BEWARE

The Facts: We booked & paid in full for 8 nights~~Drive was 160 miles~~Arrived on July 26th, 2017 to find upon entering no question that "Housekeeping" had not been done. Called Owner immediately. Said she would make refunds~~Also when the "housekeeper" called later that night, she offered to bring us cash! I told her it's the Owners responsibility. OUR PROOF OF THESE FACTS: Owner has made a partial refund, but not to our satisfaction.

Part 2: After spending 24 hours & doing Laundry, washing dirty dishes, taking out trash & cleaning floors & toilets we did notice that the property is in need of cleaning, as well as minor & major repairs, inside & outside! ( we took pictures)

We did text property owner about other issues, but then heard nothing back, or did they check on us!

Part 3: This is not a cabin, but really a Mobile Home that has been added onto. You must enter via a dirt road & the landscaping is as bad as the interior. Several dead trees & does not appear to have been cleaned up or cared for recently. Exterior of property needs cleaning, painting & repairs. We think travelers deserve a bit more when it comes to overall maintance.

Part 4: After the 2nd night & having to drive R/T 68 miles to a decent grocery store we left the property & drove home 160 miles. As soon as we arrived home we did a text to the owner & reported we had made an exit from property. We offered to deliver keys or offered that they come to our home & that is what they wanted to do. So @ 6:30 PM the owner picked up the keys from our home. Owner was not even polite, but wanted to pick a fight over our facts of the property. They wanted to see pictures I took, but because the Sun is so bright here in Arizona they could not really see them~~Owner Jumped in car & took off very fast!!

Part 5: The following day I see that owner did a very skimpy refund & not even close to what we expected.

Part 6: Then we had to do a 3 way call & it was nothing but a fight about the facts. Awful! Not something we expected, or we feel should happen to resolve anything, because as the Traveler we do have pictures & facts.

Part 7: We expect a refund of all cleaning fees & 6 nights of lodging.

FINAL WORDS: We ended our agreement when we turned over the keys on July 28, 2017!

We feel that a refund is in order to us, as property was not as described. Also, the neighborhood is scary, rooster that crow before dawn 4: am & this & many factors should be disclosed by property owner upfront.!!

Owner's Response: It is my goal to ensure each guest arrives to a clean, comfortable and well maintained home. Upon verbal notification by this guest that this was not the case, I immediately had a member of the housekeeping team report to the Cabin (less than 30 minutes) to complete the necessary housekeeping duties. However, the guests denied access to the property and refused the housekeeping services. I pride myself on being available and responsive to guests needs. I believe guest satisfaction is evidenced by the 40+ five-star reviews written by prior guests.

We "Will be back"

My family has made it a tradition to come to the Herber-Overrgard area this time of year. In that past we stayed at a much smaller cabin. With a growing family we decided to stay at "The Cabin". We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The cabin was clean, comfortable, spacious, and welcoming. We look forward to staying at "The Cabin" next year and years to come!

Great Rim getaway!

We had a great time at the cabin, it was exactly as described, and our dogs had a fantastic time exploring the (fully-fenced) grounds. Will certainly consider it again when we're next looking to head on up to the Rim.

It was very clean and inviting. The property has a beautiful porch and a nicely set up fire pit.

It was very hot inside and it took until midnight to get the house cooled down enough to sleep comfortably. We couldn't get the back bedroom cool enough so we carried the mattresses into the living room and slept there. The 2nd night the house was even hotter so we left at 9pm and headed home. Other than that it was a very nice place to stay.
