Terrific place for a family vacation
Nine of us stayed at the house for the Quebec Winter Carnival. The hot tub and beautiful fireplace was a big hit after a long day at the festival. The house was bigger than expected, providing plenty of room for our big family. The commute to the city was reasonable but 4 wheel drive is definitely recommended if you are traveling here in the winter. We would definitely stay here again.
Thanksgiving in Canada!
This was an awesome house with beautiful property, which housed and slept many people comfortably. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking a big dinner and the table is exquisite and large for a crowd! Thank you for the hospitality of sharing your home. The only improvement area is that during more wintry weather like we had on Thanksgiving weekend, the driveway could use some sand to assist with driving up the hill, especially for cars not equipped for the long sloping hill. The highway dept came by at 6am and 6pm daily.
Beautiful location, so close to national park, we would come back and stay here again.
A quiet place for a family vacation.
Beautiful, Comfortable, Fun-filled
I was looking for something unique and secluded for our anniversary and boy I was not disappointed. Not only did it fill the above but the price was right and it was less than half an hour from the beauty of Old Quebec and all shopping. We arrived around dusk in the fall so we did end up in a few driveways but easy to find nonetheless. Heard the "wolves" howling away as we unpacked and I thought that was the coolest thing but found out the next morning there was dogsledding close by, definate "plus" for winter activities. The interior had a real old chalet feel to it and was incredibly large for the two of us, and we could easily picture bringing the whole family, but in the meantime it was veritable playground for us to explore, pretty cool, I cannot actually put it into words. The interior only paled in comparison to the beauty and serenity of the outdoors with the open grass framed by large trees and a meandering creek (surprisingly large) steps away all within sight from the hottub which saw the first snow of the year, absolutely priceless. There is no lack of things to do with relaxing places to read in front of a fire, to pool and darts, all in good repair, bbq, games. I think I would love this place any time of year, hope to go back and would recommend this to anyone. Thank you Tim and Val! :)
