The master bedroom is on the and includes a full bathroom with a mahogany shower! There is a bunk room on the first floor, the 'back room' which features a Murphy bed. The full kitchen with Island (seating for 6) and the 'great room' open to the peak with an air-tight woodstove. This home was built in the year 2000. It was completely fabricated by hand on-site by master Adirondack craftsmen. Many pieces of it (Island, counter tops, cabinets, hand rails etc.) we fashioned from materials found on the property. This home is very unique and instantly gives visitors a true feeling of Adirondack simplicity and serenity. This is truly a property exudes relaxation.

About Matthew Lebowitz
I grew up in Glens Falls NY, (about 40 miles away) and purchased the land when I was 20 years old. At the age of 40, I decided it was time to create a vacation home for Me, my wife, and our 2 daughters. Avid skiers and outdoors people, we contracted my wife's brother an 'old school' builder to create the perfect mountain home for our family. Over the past 13 years we have made memories in this home that none of us will ever, ever forget. Come and stay for a few days or even a few weeks and you will understand exactly what I'm talking about.

Nice clean place for a family of 4. It gets 4 stars for water smell from faucet/showers. Owner was responsive and easy to deal with.
Not clean. Not set up for others beside the owners.
Good setting. Bunch of junk for pots and pans.
Enjoyed our stay at this cabin retreat. It was just off the grid enough to recharge, however, was about a 25 minute drive to a town if we needed to go somewhere or grab dinner. The king bed upstairs was very comfortable! I slept the whole night through. There was a bedroom downstairs next to the kitchen with two twin beds in it, but we did not need this. The cabin was very easy to find, as it was right on the road so finding it at night I feel like would not be an issue (we arrived around 3pm when it was light out). There was room for probably 4 cars in front of the house. We did use the fireplace inside. My only complaint was that we were not given any newspaper to start the fire, and had a tough time getting it light. If we had known this we would have brought some. The place does provide towels too which was kind of them. There is no service or wifi, so plan accordingly. We personally did not mind the seclusion though. The water did taste weird (not the property's fault) so I suggest bringing bottled water if you plan to drink any! We enjoyed our stay here and definitely would stay again. Thank you.
Beautiful Adirondack cabin
We stayed here during a family reunion held nearby. A superb Adirondack cottage, beautifully renovated, in a very quiet location. Absolutely charming and comfortable. One suggestion—a huge plus would be Wifi and internet access.
Great Adirondak cabin. Our family really enjoyed our stay. Very close to Gore.
Beautiful woodwork. Great wood burning stove. Very comfortable!
Cozy beautiful getaway
My husband stayed here so we could explore the Adirondack moutains. The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with basic such as cookware, spices, and some condiments. We liked the frosted glasses in the freezer. Very comfortable king size bed in the loft. We found some nearby trails to run on but we did wind up driving about an hour and a half to Lake Placid area to go hiking. The owner was available by phone for our questions and helped direct us to the trails nearby and how to get to Lake Placid.
The Central Adirondack region offers never ending recreational opportunities for people of all ages. It would be easier to list activities you can't engage in. The mountains, ponds, streams and rivers offer so much as well as the small towns, golf courses, antique shops etc. The air is always cool, and the natural surroundings are intoxicating. One has to experience it to completely understand it.
