4 Bedroom, 3 Bath Home Close To Stratton
About Lee Brown
My husband is the original owner of this home, he had it built and it has been enjoyed over the years by our family.
Lee Brown purchased this House in 1993
Why Lee Brown chose Rawsonville
It sets on 90 secluded acres in the mountains close to skiing and the Green Mountains of Vermont. Not far from Manchester, the Dorset horse show, Weston Playhouse, Lowell Lake and more.
What makes this House unique
We always enjoy the wood burning fireplaces, relaxing on the deck and the peaceful feel when visiting.

Peaceful Escape from it all...
The cabin was a clean and peaceful escape from the city. Close enough to Manchester to go out our favorite restaurant. Lee recommended the farmers market where we were able to find some great pie, the freshest and most amazing tomato I ever ate and some grass fed meat. We were able to go on some hikes, play tennis at Pingree and take in some outlet shopping. It wasn't cold enough to use the fireplace, which looked amazing! The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars was because we were not able to use the living room TV because the remote control was missing.
This property worked out great!
We rented this property for a race nearby and could not have been happier staying here. The rental was stocked with plenty of dishes, towels, linens and most items you might need. It was clean and a lot of room for a group of people. The Owner was quick to answer any questions we had. I would definitely rent here again!!
Great place for get -away with friends and family
The house was one of the most well-stocked, homey places I've stayed. The host, Lee, went out of her way to make us feel welcome with coffee, cream and breakfast treats waiting in the fridge. The kitchen is very spacious with everything we needed to make dinners. We enjoyed using the deck for breakfast and dinner as well as star-gazing. Our kids had a great time with all the games in the basement (well, the adults did too!) The fireplace was so inviting, we did use it despite being July. Everything was very clean, beds were comfy and there was more than enough space for 2 couples and 2 kids. Our dog loved roaming the spacious yard too. The hosts were very nice and very easy to work with. Will definitely rent again!
Recently stayed here with a group of 6 people and the home was perfect for us. The home had everything we needed, kitchen was well equipped for cooking for a large group, and everything was extremely clean. It’s a very spacious floor plan on a nicely secluded piece of property, but close enough to everything. The owner was wonderful and very responsive to our needs. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!
We loved it
The house was huge, clean and it had everything we need it. We will definably come back soon
Much more than expected
This is a fine place to stay. We met friends there for our annual leaf-peeping trip and decided to rent from VRBO instead of a B & B. Lee's place was a great choice. Close to everything we wanted including shopping, sightseeing, eating, and just lolling around talking. There were only two things missing--snow and a big picture window. Since we were out all day what was important was the comfort of the place and the tremendous fireplace. Kitchen well stocked, instructions easy, even a great list of convenient restaurants with her personal comments. If you have kids there is a huge carpeted basement where they can do whatever kids do without getting in your hair. All-in-all this place is highly recommeneded.
We are just a few minutes from skiing at Stratton Mountain, Bromley, Magic and a little further to Okemo and Mt.Snow ski areas. Manchester is about 20 minutes away and provides outlet shopping and a wide variety of fine restaurants to choose from (about 10 restaurants within 5-10 minutes from the house too). The Weston and Dorset playhouses are favorites and the famous Vermont Country Store is nearby as well! If you enjoy antiquing there are shops galore and if you'd rather a brewery tour then VT has many micro-breweries to visit. There are great local swimming holes, rivers to enjoy, paddle boarding, Kayak, Canoe and mountain bike rentals, hiking trails, Lowell Lake, Snowmobiling, Paintball, ATV tours and more, just ask for details on what you are interested in and we can direct you.
