What a fantastic location

  • 5 of 5

This is a fabulous place. Very comfortable, impeccably clean, well maintained and outfitted. Marc is extremely responsive and accommodating. You will enjoy the neighborhood, and the great views of both the Eiffel Tower AND the Arc de Triomphe.

This will, no doubt, be a 'do-over' for us! Thanks!!

Beautiful home right in the heart of Paris. Could not ask for more.

  • 5 of 5

Everything we hoped for and more!! Our family of 5 was truly amazed at this beautiful home. The view of the Eiffel Tower every night was wonderful. There was plenty of space for everyone. It is close to the metro and within walking distance to several sights. There are plenty of restaurant, bakery and grocery options nearby. I cannot think of a single thing I would change or ask for to make this home any better. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy all Paris has to offer.

Our family of 5 (3 teenagers) stayed here for 5 nights. It was large enough for everyone to have their own space. The traditional apartment mixed with the modern kitchen and bathrooms was exactly what we wanted. The pictures are perfectly representative of this apartment. Having the bakery across the street and the small grocery just half a block away was very convenient. Drinking wine and eating baguettes while admiring the Eiffel Tower from the apartment were some of the best benefits!

Fantastic apartment with a fantastic location

  • 5 of 5

This is a wonderful apartment that is exactly as advertised. I have read through all of the reviews and I would concur with many of the positive things others have said. Our group of five adults were more than comfortable in this well appointed and well furnished property. It was very clean and neat with lots of fresh clean towels, linen, and extra pillows. The toilet is in a separate space than the main bathroom so people can still use it while others used the bath. We ate dinner in on a couple of evenings and found everything we needed to cook our meals (gas range, extra wide toaster, coffee maker, cooking utensils, large sink). The dining table seats a very conservative eight with plenty of room for serving platters along with table settings. The washer and dryer worked perfectly (step by step instructions included!).

The location is great with the metro just over a block away. You are also steps away from one of the greatest views of the Eiffel Tower. Being so close I was able to wake up early at sunrise to photograph the Eiffel Tower under many different lighting conditions on multiple days. I would return in the evenings for night shots of the tower lit up. We took a day trip to Versailles and just walked to ET station to catch the train. We went to three bakery's in the area with our favorite being La Petite Marquise on the Victor Hugo Plaza although the one right across the street was no slouch. I made an early morning run across Paris to a bakery I had heard of called Du Pain et des Idées. Someone said made some of the best croissants in Paris. They were great but we though the ones at LPM were even better (we also had a brioche that made the best morning toast). The food and service at La Table Lauriston was excellent and made for a fine meal on our last evening in Paris.

The owner, Marc, was a pleasure to work with. Communication was top-notch as he was very attentive and provided accurate information and very useful suggestions. He provides an information sheet about the area and where to find everything you need. We arrived a little early and his uncle was there waiting. I also had a question about hiring a taxi to the train station and he responded quickly with an excellent recommendation (our taxi ride back the Gare du Nord cost less than half of what we paid to get to the apartment).

I would highly recommend renting this property and would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks Marc!
