This is an ideal location to see the sights, go shopping, and explore all that Paris has to offer. The neighborhood is very safe, and it is close to numerous excellent restaurants, cafes, bakeries, supermarkets, outdoor market, wine shops, pharmacies, etc. Walking distance to many museums, including Place du Trocadéro, Musée d'Art Moderne, Musée Guimet, Musée du Quai Branly, Grand Palais. You can walk to the Bateaux Mouches on the Seine or take a quick bus ride to Monet Marmottan or Musée d'Orsay, or take a metro ride to Sacré Coeur, the Louvre, Musée Bourdelle, Musée Carnavalet, the Catacombes, and of course Notre Dame.

The apartment covers 125 m2 (1350 square feet), and it includes three separate bedrooms - one very large MBR with en-suite modern MBA, and two additional large bedrooms that share a powder room/toilet and a modern bathroom with a soaking tub and two sinks. It also has a spacious dining room area that seats eight, along with a gorgeous living/sitting area. The decor is stunning, with beautiful furniture, all modern conveniences, and multiple balconies looking onto the top third of the Eiffel tower. The eat-in kitchen has a table that seats four people and is loaded with modern appliances (all purchased in 2012), including gas oven and burners, a refrigerator, microwave, and washer/dryer. All linens and bedding are new, including luxury hotel 100% cotton sheets and organic cotton towels, so your stay will be comfortable in all respects.

Fantastic apartment with a fantastic location

  • 5 of 5

This is a wonderful apartment that is exactly as advertised. I have read through all of the reviews and I would concur with many of the positive things others have said. Our group of five adults were more than comfortable in this well appointed and well furnished property. It was very clean and neat with lots of fresh clean towels, linen, and extra pillows. The toilet is in a separate space than the main bathroom so people can still use it while others used the bath. We ate dinner in on a couple of evenings and found everything we needed to cook our meals (gas range, extra wide toaster, coffee maker, cooking utensils, large sink). The dining table seats a very conservative eight with plenty of room for serving platters along with table settings. The washer and dryer worked perfectly (step by step instructions included!).

The location is great with the metro just over a block away. You are also steps away from one of the greatest views of the Eiffel Tower. Being so close I was able to wake up early at sunrise to photograph the Eiffel Tower under many different lighting conditions on multiple days. I would return in the evenings for night shots of the tower lit up. We took a day trip to Versailles and just walked to ET station to catch the train. We went to three bakery's in the area with our favorite being La Petite Marquise on the Victor Hugo Plaza although the one right across the street was no slouch. I made an early morning run across Paris to a bakery I had heard of called Du Pain et des Idées. Someone said made some of the best croissants in Paris. They were great but we though the ones at LPM were even better (we also had a brioche that made the best morning toast). The food and service at La Table Lauriston was excellent and made for a fine meal on our last evening in Paris.

The owner, Marc, was a pleasure to work with. Communication was top-notch as he was very attentive and provided accurate information and very useful suggestions. He provides an information sheet about the area and where to find everything you need. We arrived a little early and his uncle was there waiting. I also had a question about hiring a taxi to the train station and he responded quickly with an excellent recommendation (our taxi ride back the Gare du Nord cost less than half of what we paid to get to the apartment).

I would highly recommend renting this property and would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks Marc!

Beautiful apartment in Paris, convenient to bus and Metro, great owner communication

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay at this apartment. It has 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, kitchen, living and dining. We loved the fact that our three kids and us could all sit and chat in the living room. It was also very convenient to have a washer and dryer on site. This allowed us to simply pack a carry-on bag.

The owner "Marc", communicated very well, giving great restaurant suggestions, explanations of wireless, keys, etc in a 5 page kit. We will be using his apartment in the future as our home base in Paris. Thanks Marc for a great vacation!

I contacted Marc with a question, and he asked me to call his cell so that he could be sure to attend to my needs. This was excellent service that was greatly appreciated.

Amazing Apartment

  • 5 of 5

My family and I chose this apartment for our first time in Paris, and it turned out to be a great choice.

The apartment's location is perfect and it's sourrounded by bakeries, restaurants, grocery stores and even a few clothing stores. The apartment itself was really beautiful & quiet, very clean and equipped and surprisingly spacious. Amazing view !

The apartment is very safe itself.

Marc Howard & his uncle are very attentive to your needs and requests.

It was a wonderful place and would definitely keep it in mind for upcoming trips to Paris.

Comfortable, good location and view of the Eiffel Tour

  • 5 of 5

This apartment has a combined feel of Paris decor and living with beautifully new bathrooms and showers for comfort. It is spacious for 4 adults to have room to spread out during an extended stay. The metro is very close and there are many options for dining out or purchasing to eat in. Loved the "Corner Cafe" and the owners are so very nice. Marc the owner was very helpful with comments, suggestions and guidance when we needed it. The kitchen is small but has most everything you need for cooking a meal. The washer and dryer were great to have and the dishwasher too. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Vintage Apartment

  • 5 of 5

This is a beautiful apartment with the right amount of upgrades. The kitchen and bathrooms are redone without disturbing the original charm of the rest of the apartment. The Eiffel Tower and Arch de Triumph are within walking distance as well as several restaurants. There is a Boulanger conveniently across the street for breakfast. The metro is a 1 minute walk up the street. It is an apartment so there is a small amount of neighbor noise.

This is a great apartment that will serve you well on the your visit to Paris. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful property, perfect location and very nice and trustful Owner

  • 5 of 5

My family and I just stayed one week in this wonderful apartment. Without hesitation I absolutely recommend it for several good reasons.

This apartment is a gem, it is nicely decorated and well maintained. We found it even prettier than the pictures posted in Homeaway´s site. It is spacious and was a good fit for our family of six. As published, it has one master bedroom with a full bathroom and two additional well spaced bedrooms that share separate toilette and shower rooms.

About location, what else can be asked ? Short walk to the Trocadero, Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysees. Close Metro/Bus stations to take you to any Paris site. Also, walking to the neighborhood´s nearby bakeries, cafes, markets, really completed the full Parisian experience for us.

Finally, dealing with Marc, the owner, was a pleasure. He is a very nice and professional person. Communication was perfect during the whole process. He kept in touch permanently to ensure everything worked smoothly as it did. He also shared very good travel tips and information on the neighborhood that was very useful.

If you are considering renting this property, go ahead. We really loved this apartment and you will too.
