Beautiful condo! Mary and Mort were so, so welcoming and wonderful. We arrived to a refrigerator stocked with sodas and water and a snack bowl filled with goodies on the counter. My son who is in his first year at University of Alabama, was craving some home cooked meals. They had everything I needed to help make that happen! Great access to his dorm and we walked to the stadium. I will definitely be booking again for future visits to Tuscaloosa.
I had the pleasure of bringing my daughter and grand daughter to the Bama-MS State game and we stayed in this beautiful condo for the weekend. Words are not enough to describe what an incredibly beautiful home this is. Convenient to everything, walking distance to the ball game and impeccably decorated made this stay one of my very favorites. Mary and Mort are wonderful hostess and host and they provided so many things for us that I have never had provided in a unit before. The condo is beautiful. Spotlessly kept. Equipped with all you need and the view is absolutely incredible. The fire place on the patio with the big screen television just put icing on the cake. Thanks again Mary and Mort for sharing your beautiful home. I will come again.
I leased this unit for my daughter's May, 2014 graduation. We were comfortable and felt right at home in this beautifully appointed unit. Mary and Mort were waiting for us when we arrived…what lovely people. The view of the Black Warrior River is gorgeous and we enjoyed watching the barges move down river and the sunset at night. This is a real gem. Breakfast at Another Broken Egg is a definite must. Enjoyed! Wish I had known about this rental sooner and hope to
be back for a game day rental or a month during the winter. Roll Tide!
I recently leased this property for the Alabama/ Arkansas football weekend. The unit is BEAUTIFUL. So clean, and well furnished. The patio is large with a gas fireplace and great views overlooking the Black Warrior River. The patio is also very private and noise from surrounding areas is minimal to none. No noise could be heard from neighboring units. Another Broken Egg is on the first floor and is quite delicious. Sat and Sun mornings are VERY busy. Show up early or order take out and eat on the private balcony. Mort and Mary were wonderful. They showed us around Tuscaloosa and are a font of information. They are always accessible if the need ever arises. I would highly suggest this property to anyone and we will definitely stay again when we return to Tuscaloosa.
The University of Alabama and all of its sports and activities are within walking distance. The Bear Bryant Museum is close by. The Black Warrior River and Lake Tuscaloosa are both here for great boating and fishing. Downtown Tuscaloosa and Nortport offer places of interest and great dining. The Kentuck Festival of Arts is a wonderful art show in October. And, of course, we have ALABAMA FOOTBALL in the fall!!
