Overview

About the property

Condo, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible Bed, 1 Bath (sleeps 6 in queen beds)

This condo is in a beautiful location with easy access to our outdoor paradise and is also close to the town of West Yellowstone and the west entrance to Yellowstone Park. It's only a 15 minute drive to town and Yellowstone, but the condo is in a much more scenic and quiet area on a peninsula of Hebgen Lake, with awesome mountain views and lots of wildlife around! It is clean, well maintained, has a full kitchen and deck with BBQ grill, and has great rates, especially compared to a hotel! Don't miss the opportunity to stay in this adventurer's abode!

Morning Glory condo is a 2-bedroom, 1 bath ground floor condominium unit in a 4-plex building, with lots of recent updates. It sleeps up to 6 people, with 2 queen beds and a queen sofa-sleeper couch in the living room.

It has a full-size kitchen, dining area, wood fireplace, laundry facilities, wireless internet, satellite TV, and spectacular views of Yellowstone Park and the 11'000 foot peaks surrounding West Yellowstone and easy (5 minute drive) access to the Madison and Grayling arms of Hebgen Lake.

There is abundant wildlife, much of which travels right past the condo, and hundreds of miles of hiking, biking, skiing and snowmobiling trails right out the door. We also have other units available and can combine one, two, and three bedroom units to accommodate larger groups.

It is accessible by paved road (the last 1/4 mi is gravel), but sits in a secluded, quiet subdivision on the Horse Butte peninsula of Hebgen Lake, 9mi (15km) outside the town of West Yellowstone.

West Yellowstone has its own charms, with both summer and winter time activities, museums, theaters, dining and shopping, and gear rentals for enjoying our world famous Nordic ski and snowmobile trails, fishing, cycling, hiking. There is a marina on Hebgen lake (Kirkwood Marina) that rents motor boats and water gear too!

The fishing, skiing, wildlife watching and geyser gazing are world renowned. Come stay in this quiet mountain retreat and spend time exploring this adventurer's wonderland!

Great location to Yellowstone!

  • 4 of 5

We really enjoyed the place at West Yellowstone, it was comfortable for 4 people, though having one bathroom is a bit of a hassle. I loved the proximity to Yellowstone, just 5 miles from the park, and beautiful scenic neighborhood. It even has an observation tower to drive up to, don't miss that if you stay there! The place could use a little updating, but overall nice.

It is a bit confusing to find so make sure you have your instructions, and the cleaning staff don't like it if you arrive a bit early, something that should try to be accommodated just as a hotel would, people are traveling from long distances! And there was confusion on the checkout as well, we checked out at 9am, however, received a call while we were at the airport asking us why we hadn't left the premises.....Cleaning staff seem a bit confused and not so friendly either.

Overall, it is a perfect location to Yellowstone, and I would rent again if I make it back to that beautiful part of the country!

Enjoyed the stay at Morning Glory in the midst of nature

  • 4 of 5

Very comfortable and pleasant stay. All the amenities are available with a full kitchen. Had some problem with the hot water in the bathroom faucets and shower. Just 10 miles drive from Yellowstone west entrance. Property manager was available on call even at night 9 pm

Nice and quiet location

  • 3 of 5

Condo was adequate size for 3 adults and probably 4. Beds were not the most comfortable - made lots of noise while moving around. Was also expecting basic necessities - Kleenex, bath soap and shampoo but was not there. Had to go to the store to purchase these items. We were there for 4 nights and enjoyed the condo otherwise. Little crowded in the kitchen - nice deck outside with BBQ and table and chairs. About a 15 minute drive into town.

Quiet Stay just outside of West Yellowstone

  • 4 of 5

A nice, slightly older property outside of West Yellowstone. The price was fair when we stayed (for the area). There were plenty of blankets, pillows, cups, plates, etc. The necessities were well covered. Stove top and microwave worked well. Fridge was sufficiently large. Water was great (cold and tasty). TV and internet worked well (watched a bit of the Olympics in the evenings).

Some of the things we didn't like... the beds were super loud when we moved around and were not very great by our standards (a step or two down from the typical Marriott). Dumping garbage is a little ways away. Mosquitoes were pretty bad just around the property, though that is probably expected this time of year... just use spray.

Overall a good stay and may return. The biggest turn off was the comfort of the beds.

Thank you!

Overall nice house

  • 4 of 5

The location of the house was really nice for us--far enough out of town, but not too far. It's about 15 minutes from Yellowstone/town. We loved the view out the back and enjoyed our morning coffee and evening beer on the deck. The house was great for the 5 of us. We are all family so the close quarters and only one bathroom wasn't too bad. Our teenager slept on the pullout couch. The beds/pillows are nice. The two minor complaints I have are: was the age of the pots/pans & the shower head. The pots/pans are teflon and looks like they have outlived their life. They are all scratched up and should be replaced. The shower head has built up hard water/calcium deposits that the water shoots out all over. It needs to be cleaned or replaced. I would stay here again despite these two minor issues.
