Great Reunion

  • 5 of 5

The owner was there when we arrived. He walked us through the home, pointing out all the amenities. Our stay was for 4 days in the fall and the weather for that time of year was pleasant. There were places to go for day trips and be able to return back in time for dinner. The home was spacious and accommodating. The 2 small kitchenette were helpful for the families with small children and the extra space needed for a second refrigerator (needs to be plugged in prior to arrival). We would highly recommend a stay here and would stay again.

Big place, big views = Happy customers!

  • 4 of 5

When we arrived the owner was actually there to greet us as he had just found out there had been a rash of break-ins at multiple cabins in the area, including his. He wanted to make sure we new what had happened (and that the perps had been caught) and also showed us the repairs he'd made to assure our safety.

We had multiple families with young kids and babies staying at this cabin and we all fit perfectly. The two rooms on the top floor were perfect for our 5 month old and our 11 month old niece as there was a door that separated the rooms from the rest of the house, keeping things quiet and undisturbed as the babies napped. The view from these rooms is outstanding (as well as on the second level) and you can chill all day from inside the room, or outside on the large decks, taking it all in!

The cabin is close to the resort and takes two minutes to drive there which makes it nice for hitting the trails. Even getting down to the city of Parowan only takes about 15-20 minutes.

The property is huge! The kids spent hours in the forested "backyard." Beyond the bonfire-size fire-pit, the "backyard" extends all the way down to the next road providing ample opportunity for exploration and other activities.

And when we were done with the outdoor activities, there were plenty of things to do for the kids (and adults) when we were inside for the day with billiard, air hockey, and fooseball tables.

We've been to Brian Head a couple times before and have rented other cabins in the area and this one won't disappoint!

Great Mountain Retreat

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful family reunion at this beautiful cabin in Brian Head. Jeff, the owner, was so pleasant to work with. With 5 bedrooms for couples and 3 kitchen areas, we had plenty of space for our group of 8 adults and 9 children. (There are also 2 sets of bunk beds and additional pull-out sofa beds.) Everything was clean and comfortable.

There is a nearby playground/park with a fishing pond that our little children loved. The kids also had fun exploring the woods right around the cabin. Our men enjoyed the challenging mountain disc golf course. We visited Cedar Breaks National Monument and drove to Brian Head Peak. Another day, we drove approximately 40 minutes (through pretty country) to Duck Creek Village and enjoyed exploring the lava tubes and ice cave there. The hike to Cascade Falls was a highlight for all of us. Brian Head is a great place to visit in the summer to get away from the heat. At night, the fire pit was a great feature; it is built up with rocks around it making it extra safe for children, with two benches and two picnic tables. We loved being in such gorgeous surroundings---the views from the cabin were outstanding. We would definitely recommend staying at this cabin!

Great Cabin at excellent location

  • 5 of 5

I visited this place with my friends and we had great time for 3 nights there. Excellent location to visit other places around and great service. This place had everything that is required for great vacation time with friends and family with kids. Lots of options for recreation within the cabin and the Owner was very helpful. Lots of space for a large group, we were 3 families with kids and has lot of space for play, sleep and have good vacation. Fully furnished kitchen if you plan to cook and there is a market nearby where you can get basic groceries and few restaurants at walk-able distance. We truly enjoyed staying at this nice and beautiful cabin.
