About Roxann

My family and I fell in love with this area because of the fishing and hunting. We where lucky to buy this property and spent several years here with our three children. The summers are quiet and peaceful.

With three active children we moved to the great town of Whitefish. It is a great get away for us. We hope you and your families can enjoy the area as we have for several years.

Roxann purchased this cabin in 2005

Guestbook comments from the owner

This was an amazing get away cabin! The stars at night were gorgeous and the property was wonderful.

Everything was perfectly stocked and beautiful.

Dickey Lake was the most pristine water I have ever seen, and was loaded with fish.

Whitefish and Eureka are very quaint lovely towns if any supplies are needed.

The locals are extremely friendly and helpful with fishing advise

thank you so much for the opportunity to enjoy this place

A Private and Comfortable Gem!

  • 5 of 5

Well equipped, clean, comfortable and spacious cabin on a private 5 acre lot. There was plenty of space inside and lots of outdoor space to roam. The hiking trail to Finger Lake was beautiful. We enjoyed daily visits by the local deer and turkeys. If you like being away from the busyness of town, this is a great choice. The drive south to Whitefish or north to Eureka is approximately 20 miles and not a burden.

Our host provided everything we could possibly need - even sunscreen, bug spray, firewood, bicycles, bear spray, trail maps, games, videos, coffee, s'mores, and so much more. The queen size bed was extremely comfy. There are ceiling fans in the bedroom and living room for warm days and a wood stove for colder days. Cell phone service is not available, but there is a land line in the cabin and reliable wifi.

We spent a wonderful two weeks in this cabin and would definitely stay again if ever in that area.

Cutest Cabin in the Woods

  • 5 of 5

We loved the serenity of this cabin. The inside is beautifully decorated and well stocked with anything you might need, they even had bear spray that we used for some wonderful hiking and fly fishing in the high mountain areas. We loved that everything we needed to grill was available even s'mores fixings.

Sincerely,

McQuown's

Clean, quiet, modern amenities in a rustic setting.

Wonderful rustic setting with modern appliances. Enjoyed the outdoor fire pit, plenty of dry wood, and goodies to make 'smores! A very relaxing place to stay.

Fantastic!!!!!!

  • 5 of 5

Just stayed here with my wife and daughter for a week. The cabin far outweighed our expectations and the location (about 20/30 mins into Whitefish) was perfect for us. If you want a more authentic rural Montana experience this is a great choice. It was around an hour to Glacier entrance and we traveled there a few days but mostly just loved hanging around and exploring close to the cabin.Roxanne was a great host and the cabin was very clean. We will miss waking up to seeing deer out the windows and spending evenings listening to the bird songs by the camp fire. Thanks again Roxanne we will definitely be back!

A Dream Come True

  • 5 of 5

Montana has been on the top of my list of places to see for over 10 years but my fear of flying kept me from making my dream a reality. My husband and I wanted to stay one week in a rustic cabin and one week closer to Glacier National Park. This cabin was exactly what we were looking for - it had everything we needed and more ( except a hair dryer) we enjoyed our stay so much and created so many wonderful memories! We think about this place often and can't wait to come back . Thank you so much Roxann for all the little things you do to make your guests feel right at home.
