I grew up in the Plattsburgh area and have enjoyed many hours on the Lake. I still spend as much time as I can at the home but live in Queensbury now.
Bernie purchased this House in 2003

Very quiet and relaxing!
This property was very clean and comfortable. Beautiful view of Lake Champlain, with a quiet, charming atmosphere. I would recommend
The house and location was beautiful, great remote spot.
I'm happy you liked it as much as we do.
Beautiful spot on Lake Champlain
Excellent stay. Private. Quiet. Great lake access. Firepit and grill. The house was very cozy. Only issues were some burnt out lights and hot water has a bit of a smell.
Owner is very friendly and responsive.
House was as advertised. Very quiet - dead end street. The weather didn't cooperate but we still did things. Would rate higher if has TV/ WiFi. Plattsburgh a short drive away.
Very clean and comfortable
My family had a great time at the house and lake. The owner was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. We will definitely be renting this house again.
I'm always happy to hear from guests that enjoyed their stay. The camp is such a peaceful place to relax and enjoy Lake Champlain. I've owned the cottage since 2003 and make improvements every year. I'm glad to help so many families see what upstate NY has to offer.
We stayed at this cabin for a week in August. Everything is accurately represented in pics and description. The cabin has been tastefully renovated and everything functioned well. No cable or wifi, but we knew that and brought our own library of DVD's. If you are into birds, this is one of the best places I've been to in years! Saw a number of new species, including a Scarlet Tanager at Pt. Au Roche (sp?) state park. Loons, Kingfishers and Ospreys every day. Eagles a time or 2.
Fishing is great, but not from the immediate shoreline. The included rowboat got us out a couple hundred yards to a rocky point where we caught smallmouth, rock bass and yellow perch.
Ausable Chasm is a must see. Pt. Au Roche Park has some great trails and seemingly miles of awesome shoreline to explore with no crowds. Hungry Bear in Plattsburgh for breakfast and Clare and Carl's for the requisite Michigan Red hots....
Thank you Bernie for a great week!
In Chazy is the largest producer of Macintosh apples, a great school district, many of historic cemeteries, soccer is very popular as well as hockey and fishing. An average of 5 cars pass this house in a days time. Nice and quiet...
