perfect spot for our Christmas stay in West Seattle

  • 5 of 5

Lovely, well appointed, cozy apartment--even with cold, blustery winter weather. Plenty of room in kitchen and living area; comfortable small bedroom. Location was perfect for us since we had a car and our daughter lives nearby. Unit even has its own parking space. Very close to Vashon ferry and scenic walks along water.

Breathtaking waterfront getaway

  • 5 of 5

I brought my 17yr old son to see where he was born (WA) for his birthday & couldn't have found a better place. Since he will be attending college soon, I wanted him to experience what it would feel like to "live" near/on the water. I didn't want a typical hotel, more real-life scenario, hoping this would give him a little extra motivation to continue to work hard & he could have something like this. I wanted it to be kinda like a "Real World" (MTVish setting).. lol.. and it did just that. Jan (the owner) shared how she and her husband had a dream to live on the water and with hardwork made it a reality. It inspired not only my son but me. She was wonderful. The house was cozy and felt like you were in a cottage. The views were out of this world and the sound of the waves were peaceful. The outdoor space is a perfect setting to sit back and allow the beauty of the world inspire anyone. Definitely will be visiting and staying here again. Sure beats the 100+ weather here in Texas :)
