Our lake house is located in the town of Lucerne on beautiful Clear Lake, California's largest natural lake. Bring your family and friends to this relaxing waterfront home away from home!

This vacation home is perfect for water sports, including a private dock. Our electric controlled swim dock can be raised & lowered to your desire for swimming, water play or tying off your watercraft. It’s great for fishing off the dock, and swimming on your private beach. Enjoy our 4 person paddle boat to tour the nearby shores.

Children will enjoy hours of entertainment on our swing set, tree swing, and in the sand box. Our property is fully gated, which makes it ideal for children and pets. Enjoy our extra-large, lawn-landscaped back yard for lounging or playing. There is nothing more relaxing than falling asleep in our hammock under our large Fruitless-Mulberry tree. We provide several outdoor chairs & lounge chairs for relaxing outdoors as well as a large picnic table for outside dining. Enjoy breathtaking sunsets from our private dock while having a romantic or family style dinner.

Our lake-front vacation home features 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms, and can sleep up to 14 people. Amenities include central air-conditioning and central heat, cable Flat Panel TV, DVD player, VCR, small video library, stereo, surround sound, washer and dryer, bed linens, pillows, bathroom towels, dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave, dishes and utensils, spices for cooking, paper towels & TP, gas BBQ grill, outdoor dining, lounge chairs, hammock, swing set, tree swing, beach, paddle boat and private dock. Our front yard driveway can hold up to 6 cars, and there is plenty of room to park your RV or boat trailers. There is extra parking along the street as well.

Our home is just minutes away from the beautiful Ceago Winery, Robinson Rancheria Casino, Lucerne Harbor Park Boat Ramp, Alpine Park & Beach & grocery stores. Come and enjoy relaxation, wineries, hiking on local trails, boating, watersports, world-famous Bass fishing, beaches, casinos, bird watching, and Lakeport Speedway. It’s a great place to escape from it all and enjoy beautiful Clearlake!

Clearlake is 19 miles by 8 miles at its widest point. Average depth is 27 feet, maximum is 60 ft with over 100 miles of shoreline. Average water temperature is 40 °F in winter and 76 °F in summer. There are 11 free boat launch ramps around the lake that are open to the public. Individuals may rent boats and personal water craft from many businesses around the lake.

The responsible renter must be 25 years of age or older and present on the property during the rental period. Well behaved dogs are welcome with an additional deposit and are limited to stay in the sunroom or outside of the home. Pets are not permitted in the home. This is a non-smoking house but there are designated areas outside where smoking is permitted.

Restrictions: No Loud/Crazy Parties. Home is in a quiet residential neighborhood. Quiet hours 10 pm-8 am. Occupancy limited to number booked in reservation. Rates are subject to change until booked. All reservations are final.

Our family purchased our waterfront vacation home back in the late 1970's. Born & raised in the Silicon Valley, we wanted a 2nd home to spend weekends & special holidays away with the family. We never get tired of spending time on the lake!

We had spent several years vacationing in Clearlake and wanted a home of our own to enjoy. Lucerne was a nice central location with many neighborhood amenities. We fell in love with the extra large back yard, since we spend most of our time outside when we are there.

What makes this house unique

We look forward to breathtaking sunsets from our dock or back yard when we visit. Take a boat ride or drive to Ceago winery and local restaurants. We love being on the lake, soaking in the sun and enjoying water sports. Spend the afternoon fishing from our dock, or grab a lounge chair and enjoy the extra large back yard. Watch the kids play in on our fully gated property while relaxing on the hammock.

Serene vacation on Clear Lake

We loved staying in this home over our Thanksgiving holiday. The large table in the sun room accommodated our 4 adults and 3 children with ease and provided a great space for our Thanksgiving feast and family board games.

The house was clean, well maintained, and just enough personal touches to show their family's history in that home. We loved looking at the pictures on the wall.

Our kids loved the big backyard with the swing set and playing on the beach. Watching the sun set while sitting on the dock was a huge bonus to both the kids and adults.

A note: we anticipated using the "side" house for the kids, but they were a little too young (8 and under) to be left in a separate space (it's only about a couple feet from door to door, but in order for the glass door to stay closed, we would have had to lock it). This is not meant as a negative to our stay - I only write this to better prepare any family travelers.

Christmas in Lucerne

We were looking for a home that would work for adults, one toddler and one dog. We found the perfect place. Very well stocked kitchen, very comfortable living areas, the yard was wonderful for kids and the dog, fenced in and the dock as well. Communication with Lisa was great. The weather was perfect. Loved making family memories at this home.

Great Home for a Family Trip

My family and our friends had a great time at this lake home. We relaxed in the back yard, fished on the dock, had an overall great experience.

The home was well maintained and in great condition. The owner was very responsive and accommodating. It's a great location being right in town. We would love to come back again sometime.

Great house...lots of room, but read description carefully

Maybe because this was the first time I've rented a house, but it was more work than expected. I wish they (the owners)would provide the renters with the rental documents upon inquiry of the rental. Lisa is GREAT and accommodating to our needs and contestant changes and we are very grateful. The description needs to be updated...under "General" WiFi is listed as being a feature (which is a huge plus), but then when we received the rental agreement, no internet provided (bummer). Although there was enough TP in each restroom, there was only one roll of paper towels in the rental, we had to buy a roll to complete all the cleaning required by the agreement. Also there were no extra garbage bags we could use to replace the ones that were full. The only extra bags were the tiny ones in the restroom. It was really hot the weekend we stayed at the house the sun room was a great spot to hang out and eat but because of all the bugs out in the yard we could not fully open all the windows in the sun room because of some of the window screens having holes or gaps around the edges. It would also been nice to have a screen door leading to outside so more air can flow in and out of the sun room. I will say the detached room had the most comfortable beds and a great A/C unit. I would bump it up to 3.5 if I could...Lucerne , the Switzerland of America was a fun little spot to go for a mini vacation

Owner's Response: Hi Kenny, Thanks for taking the time to write a review. I do wish however that you would have texted or called me since we DO have wifi at the house as mentioned in our VRBO description page. Since your stay was just for 2 nights, we only provide one extra roll of toilet paper for each of the 3 bathrooms, along with the current roll that is in each room. When we have larger groups stay for a longer period of time, we do provide more. I have never had anyone else complain about it not being sufficient. Guests are then expected to purchase more if what we provide is not enough. This is pretty standard with a house rental vs. staying in a hotel. The amount of cleaning required is also pretty standard for a house rental and is actually pretty minimal. I try to keep the cleaning fees down for guests by having them do a few simple things like strip linens, empty trash cans into main trash cans outside, load the dishwasher, wipe down any spills in the refrigerator if needed, and return anything that was moved or used. I am not sure why extra paper towels would be needed for the cleaning as we do provide kitchen sponges and cleaning sponges are located under the sink. There should have been an extra 2 bags under the current trash can, so if there was not I apologize and will chat with my cleaner. Again, I mention to all renters that they are always welcome to text or call if something doesn't seem right. The bugs outside are unpredictable as mentioned in the paperwork. They are gnats and are a part of the food chain for the fish in the lake, so the county does not treat them. They however, do not bite, but are mainly just annoying when they are present. We used to have a screen on the back sliding door, but it unfortunately keeps getting broken with renters, so have decided to leave off. Our rental agreement is provided after a guest books since it does have our address listed on the paperwork and a lot of information I would rather not have posted to the public for security reasons. I however, am fine sharing our rental agreement with potential renters if they ask me for more information.

Beautiful property!!

Our family had a great time! The home was well equipped with all amenities needed to make our family feel comfortable. It had enough room for all 11 of us and it didn't feel crammed. I love how the backyard was fully shaded by the perfectly placed tree! We would highly recommend this property to friends. It was definitely one of our top family vacations!
