About Debbie Pemberton
I'm originally from Barrie, Ontario but moved to Victoria BC in June 1989 when my then 6 year old daughter finished kindergarten. As a single mother I wanted to be closer to my family who had all previously made the move out west. This was the best decision that I have ever made. Victoria is truly a wonderful place to live with everything it has to offer, not to mention the fact that it has the best year round weather in all of Canada. Not too many people in Canada can say they golf and bike in January and February but we can here in Victoria.
Debbie Pemberton purchased this House in 1991
Why Debbie Pemberton chose Hillside - Quadra - Downtown Blanshard
I purchased this home in 1991. Being an older home it was full of character and had a lot of soul. There are hardwood floors in the main living space, wainscotting in the living room and sun room. Over the years I have completely renovated the home to bring it up to today's modern standards.
What makes this House unique
This lovely home is tucked away in a quiet, residential area but ideally located close to downtown. It gets an abundance of light throughout the home. The sun room has nine windows alone! It's a charming, character-filled house that is relaxing and clutter-free. Care was taken to decorate it to show it to its full advantage.

Very clean, quiet and comfortable
Debbie has done a great job of making the property "a home away from home".
The kitchen is well set up with all the appliances and conveniences you would have at home. The bed is very comfortable and lots of hot water for showering.
The location offers street parking and is within walking distance of downtown.
Overall, the experience was very pleasant and we would highly recommend Debbie's place for your next trip to Victoria.
Excellent 2 bedroom unit
We had a wonderful stay- 2 bedrooms including a bunk bed.
House is well stocked and lots of living space.
Will definitely stay here again.
Lovely, spacious, comfortable home. Debbie thought of all the details. In a quiet neighbourhood.
Great! Comfortable, clean and with easy access to downtown Victoria by car.
Clean, quiet get away
Our family enjoyed 3 nights here. The kitchen was wonderfully stocked and there were so many dishes to choose from! The kids loved the little outdoor playhouse. The only thing that might be an issue is that the stairs to the house were pretty steep - that might be an issue for very young children.
We had such a great time in Victoria. Debbie was wonderful and very accommodating. Her cozy home is clean and very centrally located. Our family enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you Debbie.
Wonderful place to stay!
This was a beautiful place for our family to call home while in Victoria. Debbie was the best!
Victoria is a lovely community located on the southern tip of Vancouver Island and is also the capital of British Columbia. It is the must-see city to visit in British Columbia, starting with a trip - just a ten minute drive from my home - to the Parliament buildings adjacent to the harbour. Victoria has been a popular recreation destination for well over a century with year-round golfing, cycling, bird-watching, kayaking and hiking to name just a few of the many activities visitors can enjoy. Just around the corner from my home, are popular restaurants like Fifth Street Bar and Grill and San Remo (Italian) restaurant. Shopping is nearby since my home is situated close to two major malls in the city.
