This comfortable and stunning Chaparral Country Club condo has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and features nearly 2100 square feet. Each of the 3 bedrooms is private and has its own bathroom. The condo has a completely remodeled, well-stocked kitchen with all-new stainless steel appliances. The condo features new furniture throughout, new pillow-top mattresses in every bedroom, a pull-out queen size sofa bed in the living room, a 55-inch HDTV flat screen with cable in the living room, flat-screen televisions in every bedroom, free telephone calling throughout the U.S. and Canada, and free wi-fi. This condo is quiet and relaxing, and sits in the interior portion of the Club on a cul-de-sac, away from any street noise, with breathtaking views of the mountains, lake, and golf course. Enjoy dinner and entertaining outside on the beautiful, extended patio while watching the desert sunset and evening stars. The community heated swimming pool and jacuzzi are only a few steps away and get full-sun throughout the day. There are 20 additional pools throughout the Club. This condo has everything to make your vacation great!
Chaparral Country Club features 24-hour security and is guard-gated. Tennis and brand-new state-of-the-art fitness center is available to our guests. You can also golf on the private Chaparral Country Club course for a very reasonable fee. The Clubhouse features breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and bar service.
Chaparral is located close to great shopping, art galleries, and restaurants. El Paseo and The River, premier shopping areas, are close by. Enjoy live music and theatre performances at the McCullum Center, stroll the nearby Civic Center Park, or take in a movie at one of the many local cinemas. If you are a family with children, there are numerous children-friendly places to visit nearby the condo such as the Living Desert zoo and gardens, Knott's Soak City, and the new Palm Desert Aquatic Park with water slides! There is a ton of things to do in Palm Desert, and all are close by.

Our family has been coming to Palm Desert for many years. We bought this vacation condo to be able to enjoy the desert lifestyle and wonderful weather and to share it with our family and friends. We hope that you will enjoy vacationing in the condo as much as we do!

Chaparral Country Club is a fantastic club, with full amenities, uncrowded swimming pools and common areas, and great food in the clubhouse. Everyone is very friendly. The availability of golf, brand new fitness center, and tennis right on the property is great, and it is very close to nice restaurants, shopping, and theaters. We know you will love it too!

Excellent Desert Vacation
This condo and Chaparral C.C., were both very clean and well maintained. We liked the Palm Desert location, as it central to the Palm Springs area. The condo was completely equipped and the Wi-Fi and US/Canada phone was a bonus. The owner was very helpful, and was the most organized of the VRBO rentals we have had. Overall, a most enjoyable holiday, with lots of space for our family to come and visit.
Spent a wonderful 2 months in this condo. Have been renting in P D for years and this spot was the best - clean, spacious, well appointed and in a central location.
The neighbourhood is extremely friendly and we were welcomed by neighbours as though we were owners. This unit is in a very quiet area and yet lots of strata activities are available if you so wish.
We have booked again for 2015.
We stayed in this unit for 7 weeks as our first visit to this part of the United States. The condo it is as described ... well furnished and maintained, clean and spacious. The photos are accurate in reflecting the property. The owners are exceptionally helpful, well organized and prompt in providing information and in responding to queries. The Chaparral Country club staff are friendly and easy to work with .. the overall development is well maintained and very quiet. You will need a car as you cannot walk to do food shopping etc. With a car everything is close by. The exercise facility was being built while we were there and this will add to the attractiveness of the overall situation ... it is a short walk from the unit.
The property faces south so the patio is well shaded as it faces north, i.e.,most of it is out of the sun. If you wish to sit in the sun the communal (heated) pool and spa is only three houses away. There are numerous pools on the property so they are not crowded.
My rationale for four stars is the condo is a five but the area reduces the overall appeal. Over the longer haul it can be a little boring and getting the ocean is a long drive ... the 74 route to San Diego is an interesting and scenic drive in the daylight.
We are so glad that you enjoyed our condo and Chaparral Country Club. We make every effort to furnish our condo in a way that will make the stay of our guests comfortable and relaxing. Palm Desert is a great city that is centrally located to shopping, theaters, malls, restaurants, museums, parks, hiking trials, and countless golf courses. Even though your first trip to Palm Desert may have been a little different from what you expected, you were great guests and we would be more than happy to accommodate you again in the future.
GOlF COURSE LOCATION
This home is perfect for 3 couples, since each bedroom has an attached bath. My husband and I slept in the double bed room and although it was a smaller bed than we are used to, it was comfy. The home is well appointed and equipped with everything you need. The owners could not have been easier to work with or more accommodating in making our stay enjoyable. This is truly a home that lives up to the photos and description!! Great location.

Rates: December & January $3,800 February & March $4,000 April $3,800 May - September $2,700 October & November $3,500 $500.00 Security Deposit is required to reserve dates. Deposit includes $350.00 refundable damage deposit and a $150.00 non-refundable cleaning fee. A utility cap of $150.00 is included in the monthly rate. During the months of June through October, guests agree to pay any utility overages in excess of $150.00 which will be deducted from the security deposit. 800 free anytime telephone minutes throughout the U.S. and Canada is included in the monthly rate. Guests agree to pay any telephone overages which will be deducted from the security deposit.
