Great cabin for sunset and bon fire when chilly out. Can’t beat the views.
House was clean, rooms were fine size for a cabin. Shower was small but did the job. Overall great stay.
Clean and cozy 😊
Beautiful cottage beach style home
The window views are beautiful. You can sit at the back patio or beachside and hear the waves rolling in. At night, the fire in the pit and sounds of the waves are so relaxing. The home is comfortably decorated, The bathroom is nice but very tiny for 6 people. Also, at least one outlet should be added. The stove is too small but the kitchen is well stocked with amenities. I would recommend this cottage and would stay again. With the enclosed porch, you can sleep even more people. We had a great time and feel it was a great value.
We decided not to let possibly the last warm weekend of 2017 go to waste. We booked this very last minute. The owner was gracious and helpful. We arrived and the place was clean and well appointed. Our twin 2 year old girls spent the weekend playing in the knee deep water and destroying sand castles. The neighbors down the beach were very friendly and thoughtful. Perfect weekend.
Comfortable and Homey
When we arrived at the cottage, we were pleasantly surprised at the spaciousness of the living room and bedrooms. Also, the cottage was very clean, even the kitchen cupboard knobs! There was a window air conditioner in the kitchen and one in the bedroom with the twin beds. They kept us nice and cool on the couple muggy days that we had.
Outside, there was plently of room: there was a round picnic table with an umbrella, patio chairs and more! There was a nice mix of sun and shade thanks to the beautiful mature trees. The water wasn't cold and had a sandy bottom that was shallow for quite a way out. Great if you have small kids. We spent a lot of time on the beach and wanted to stay another weak to work on our tans.
We visited Pigeon, Caseville and Port Austin and went through the shops and had a few meals out. It was a great week!
Enjoyed our stay
Enjoyed the area. Wifi and internet did not work very well. Loved beach area. Really small bathroom.
