A very special district in Jerusalem , near and well connected to many historical and touristic attractions: the Kotel, the Old city, The Botanical Gardens, The Big Synagogue and the old train station, the biblical zoo ,the Hartman institute, the city center, the Old City and much more

Algeria was very thoughtful, accommodating, and welcoming. The apartment is very close to Emek Refaim St, which has many shops and restaurants. Within walking distance to the old city. I would recommend this home to friends and family!

My husband and I were in Jerusalem for almost 6 weeks in this comfortable, bright and roomy apartment. Especially enjoyable was eating breakfast on the enclosed veranda. The location was excellent, near many cafes and the refurbished Ottoman railway station and walking path. Alegria greeted us with a warm welcome and an amazingly stocked refrigerator and except for a very minor issue (loose toilet seat) which was dealt with very quickly, all went smoothly. Booking the apartment, making arrival and departure arrangements were easy and pleasant. We, too, felt very much at home and enjoyed every minute of our stay.
We are a family of four (2 adults and 2 children, ages 3 and 5) who felt right at home in Chez Rica. Everything, from our contact with Alegria when first booking and arranging our stay to the apartment itself, were just wonderful. The flat is spacious and well-appointed with everything one needs for a comfortable stay. It is in a nice building and in a fabulous location in the heart of the lively German Colony. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a huge bowl of seasonal fruits and enough basics in the fridge to allow us to have a nice snack and settle in comfortably. All in all, we would highly recommend Chez Rica for a great visit to Jerusalem!
Not only was the location excellent and the accommodations beyond our expectation, but the owner made us feel incredibly welcome. The location is directly in the middle of the German Colony, about a half-block away from Emek Rafaim. Our group consisted of five graduate students who were interested in relaxing and seeing the Old City after a month of an archaeological excavation. The Old City was a 20 minutes walk in the morning, and anywhere else we wanted to go was easily accessible by walking, light rail, or bus. Would definitely recommend this property for anyone interested in seeing Jerusalem.
Spacious apartment on 2nd floor with elevator and free parking 2 blocks away. Easy access to King George & Ben Yehudah Streets, Kotel, and Old City. Washer and dryer in the unit was great and Alegria could not have been a better landlord. Had a problem with the key one night and she had it replaced and fixed the very next morning. Thanks for a wonderful stay. We loved the apartment and the neighborhood!
