About Dianne Rice-Hansen and Brian Hansen
We are a hard working middle aged couple who love to travel and are avid boaters. We primarily live in our home in Bangor Maine in the winter months November to April but because we love to spend the warm summer days at our lake home we have decided to rent the City home in Bangor as a vacation/short term professional rental during the spring/summer and fall months. Our story, However doesn't end there. After spending the last 50+ years with only 3 months of summer and very long cold Maine winters we decided to go in search of a warmer land and a home away from home in the "Sunshine State" of Florida. We wanted to find a place that in our off season months could offer everything the summers in Maine did. After a long 8 year search we drove across the Bridge and on to Marco Island and found just what we were searching for. We purchased a condo in 2015 and after two years decided we wanted a place we could entertain our entire family at so we went in search of a house. When we walked in we knew Marquesas Court was the one for us, after returning to it three times we made an offer. So when we aren't in Maine we, along with our family and friends spend as much time as we possibly can on the Island and on our boat appropriately named "Idle Speed", but until we can find ourselves able to become true snow birds we are opening up our Florida home to renters. If you are looking for a vacation rental in Florida check out our other property HA 4607336 We welcome you to come enjoy Maine or Florida.

This was the best VRBOs we’ve ever stayed in. The house is gorgeous. Super nice but very affordable. Tons of space and a fully finished basement. Dianne was great, very good at communicating. Snacks and amazing breakfast food were included for free! Which was just amazing after getting in late after a long day of travel. Hot tub was great. Conveniently located for doing day trips. And there is a PacMan game in the basement! If/ when we are back in Maine, we will 100% stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone traveling here!
Kristen, Thank you so much for the wonderful review. I am so happy the home was perfect for you and your group. You must come back and spend more than 4 days in Maine. There is just so much to do,so many amazing hikes and places to visit. You just touched on the beauty and what the State has to offer. With 4 seasons of activities, there is never a bad time to come.
Lovely place to stay
Wonderful house that was friendly warm and inviting. The breakfast supplies left for our first morning went above and beyond! The owner was very responsive anytime I had a question.
Convenient, central Maine location
This home worked very well for me this summer for 6 weeks. I am from the Bangor area originally, and I wanted a place that was conveniently located so I could visit with family and friends. It is minutes away from shopping, restaurants and entertainment. It was large enough for my children and grandchildren to come and stay comfortably.
The owners were very friendly, helpful and available if needed.
It is on a busy road, so there was some traffic noise, but I got used to that. There is no air conditioning, but I knew that in advance and we made due with fans.
I had absolutely no issues with the house while I stayed there, and would definitely stay again. I would recommend it to anyone that was looking for a large, comfortable and convenient place to stay in the Bangor area.
Perfect, comfortable home with all amenities needed. Location to airport & other destinations great
Wonderful hosts and beautiful home. Worked perfectly for our family to be together and make memories. Home was comfortable and perfect for rain or shine days. Thanks for a great vacation!
Very spacious home, very clean, complete with everything you would need. Close to downtown and a great way to spend time with family. And Dianne goes above and beyond to help with any questions
