How great can it be, 35 feet from the BLUE PACIFIC

Located between Ka'anapali and Kapalua, on the West Side of Maui, your vacation begins the minute you walk in the front door and see the view. This is the perfect place for a "Get-Away-from-it-all Vacation or Romantic Honeymoon. Secluded, lushly landscaped grounds include palms, hibiscus, plumeria, orchids,a pool, spa and picnic and barbeque areas. Hale Mahina is just minutes from world-class golf as well a historic Lahaina.

Our condo home is on the first floor with the beautiful view of the beach and the islands of Lanai and Molokai.

The direct access from our lanai means there are no stairs or elevators between you and the sand beach. Because Hale Mahina has a private beach it is quiet and limited only to to our select guests. It is perfect for swimming, snorkeling and... oh those shells, too. There are always sea turtles swimming in front and occasionally sunning themselves on our beach.

In the condo you will find a full complement of full sized kitchen and laundry appliances, electronics including TV, CD, DVD, Wi-Fi, as well as all the bath towels, beach towels and linens. Parking is free and there are grocery stores and restaurants within walking distance. There are two 'Farmers Markets', perfect for fresh Pineapples, Papayas, Mangos, other local produce and Hawaiiana.

Why Owner/Property Manager chose Lahaina

We had the pleasure of staying at Hale Mahina for 2 weeks each in 1998 and 1999. On our second visit we knew we were going to have to make Maui our home, away from home. In 1999 launched a search for our new ideal Maui home. An exhaustive search of west side properties proved to use that no other location offered the unique combination of nicely designed condos with world-class actually private beach. Originally we had a 2nd floor unit and eventually were able to acquire a beautiful unit on the ground floor. The Best Location in the Best Property on the Best Island in Hawaii.

What makes this condo unique

We have fallen in love with great beach and wonderful gardens, an outstanding view and the most beautiful sunsets anywhere.

Great place, beach and location!

My wife and I just got back from staying here for a week. What a great place! The condo itself was very clean and has a lovely updated kitchen. I would suggest to the owners to update the photos on VRBO as the changes helped a lot. I think my favorite part though is the private beach. The facility has chairs to use and there’s so much grass that you don’t have to get in the sand. You just walk out of this unit and are at the beach. We also saw a ton of wildlife. At least one turtle a day was up on the beach resting at some point. But they were constantly swimming around. I liked having the private because going to other beaches nearby wasn’t always the easiest. Not a lot of parking and they got busy by 9am. I did have to reach out to the owners the day I arrived and he was very helpful. The only thing that might be hard for someone is the noise. As the bedroom is on the street side, it did get a bit nosy at night but it wasn’t necessarily a problem for us. It just may be for lighter sleepers. Thank you Garrett for a great trip and we hope to be back soon!

Maui Beach Condo

My husband and I took a trip in September 2017 for some much needed R&R! After arriving in Hawaii after a 8 hour flight we were hot and worn out. We arrived at the Condo to find it very hot inside. We looked for the thermostat and wasn't able to find one when we realized our condo did not have A/C!!! Please know we are from Texas and we wanted to get away from the heat!! LOL However, after we opened the windows and sliding door the unit quickly cooled down and so did we:) It was one of the best vacations ever!! Being on the bottom floor was the BEST!! We were closed to everything we needed. Times grocery store is about a mile from the Condo and several great places to eat. The owners were great to work with and we plan on going back next September!!

Excellent property and location!

We stayed for eight nights on our honeymoon. The condo is very well kept. The little walkway from the lanai onto the beach was perfect. We wanted to be able to just walk out onto the beach and enjoy the sunsets, this place delivered and then some. The owners suggestions on day trips was much appreciated. On that note, the owner is super nice and made sure it went well. Maui was awesome and we will absolutely return.

Beautiful, Relaxing, Perfect

Wow.. Beautiful. We enjoyed our 10 night stay and wish we had made it longer. The condo is great, the Lanai was fabulous. Loved sitting out there and enjoying the beach and water. The condo is quiet and relaxing. Watch the patio slider.. If you go out and close it, it will lock.. for safety. Thankfully when I locked us out.. the manager was right next door. We loved the turtles coming up on the beach and utilized the noodles and boogie boards. The beach really is only about 20 feet away. I totally loved having a ground floor condo.

The furnishing in the condo were comfortable and we felt right at home. Kitchen is just perfect for cooking. The Pots and pans were the best I have seen in a rental. We arrived late on Saturday night and we had no problem getting in the condo. On Monday, we explored Maui and came home to a beautiful fruit basket. Thank you Garrett and Diana! We are definitely going back to this piece of paradise.

The property was very clean and well kept.

We especially enjoyed our private lanai and proximity if ocean and pool. There were a lot if rules regarding the use of pool and such which actually had more benefits than expected...peaceful, somewhat quiet (with the exception of room doors and car doors slamming during "quiet hours"). Overall a nice condo and property. We have a daughter and found ourselves telling her to be quiet a lot, otherwise we would get dirty looks from the older couples. Would recommend for couple or quiet friends, not a family with young children.
