Enjoyed the home and access to water.
very comfortable and homey
Great attention was paid to the details in the house and it was very homey! We thoroughly our time there!
Sarah was so kind and very accommodating to make sure the place was clean and stocked with everything we could possibly need. The home was more spacious in person than online and the deck on the river was peaceful and beautiful. We enjoyed fishing, canoeing, bar-b-queing, and visiting caverns and Mexico beach! It truly was a little piece of heaven!
A very nice house on the river
We really enjoyed our three-night stay. As a matter of fact, the setting was so pleasant that we ditched our plans for the day and just hung out on the big deck. It was in the high 90's when we were there, and the back porch was super hot, but sitting on the dock under the huge tupelo tree made it feel 20 degrees cooler. And surprisingly enough, we had absolutely no mosquito issues. The inside is clean as a whistle and the beds are very comfortable. We never watched TV, but there's a pretty nice setup there. The owner was very pleasant to work with. I'll keep this one in mind when we need a short getaway again.
Peace and quiet
Sara's home is tucked away along the river- if you are looking for a place for R & R this is it. The home is beautifully decorated and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes and utensils and even an outside grill. We enjoyed our visit to the Pioneer Village in nearby Blounstown. We planned to bike ride the greenway trail - but Florida seemed to be experiencing hotter than normal days during our stay so this event was skipped - the trail leads from the same park that the Pioneer village is in to about 3.5 miles to the river and from what i've read is quite scenic, we'll keep in mind for another visit.
Beautifully maintained home with everything you need already supplied.
I found this house last minute on Home Away. When I contacted Sara about my plans, she responded very quickly. As she has with all my communication. We found the house to be very comfortable and very quiet (except for the children I brought with). Although we did not get a chance to fish the river, we had a great time. The house was very spacious and well kept. Kudos to Sara's cleaner. If ever I am in the area again, I would surely contact Sara and see if the property was available. If your plans are to be away from it all, this is the PERFECT home. Sit back, relax with family or friends, or fish. There is plenty of room. Thank you Sara for allowing us to stay at your house. It was a vacation I think my Family and I will remember for some time.
