About Anne Theisen
Dan has lived on the ranch his entire 60 plus years and knows this area like the back of his hand. We have always loved entertaining and would love to have you experience this peaceful spot. I am an RN working part time as a Hospice nurse. We are lucky to have our children and 7 grandchildren living in the area. We love the Gallatin Valley and hope to help you have an amazing Montana Vacation.
Anne Theisen purchased this House in 2005
Why Anne Theisen chose Gallatin County
This ranch has been in the family since the 1940's and continues to produce wheat or barley depending on the year. Each of the Theisen brothers have 160 acre ranches surrounding our 160 acre ranch...therefore open spaces, beautiful views and tranquility.
What makes this House unique
The spectacular 360 degree views of 5 surrounding mountain ranges and the Gallatin Valley is what sold us to build on this site. There are many draws to hike and discover wildflowers, old ranch artifacts and view the wildlife. At night enjoy the the lights of the valley and the star filled sky from our hot tub.

Incredible house, breathtaking location, wonderful host!
The house is more than comfortable, well-equipped, and surrounded by 360deg of breathtaking views. Anne is a responsive, kind and gracious host. Some of our favorite features: the hot tub on the deck under the stars, the pool table, darts, and variety of board games, the large kitchen and living area, the piano, the huge windows w mountain views/sunrises/sunsets, the kid's playset in the yard... I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
Thank you so much for your kind review. We loved having you and hope our paths cross again!
Blissfully Beautiful with attention to needs of guests
We stayed here for 4 nights with 12 family members. It was not only gorgeous but more wonderful than the photos. We all had space to be alone but large space to gather. Beds were delightful and the hosts Ann and Dan were present when needed and so gracious. The chickens and horses just added to the ambience and charm of this mountain view home. We could not of been more pleas d with the decision to stay here.
What a beautiful house with breathtaking views. We couldn't have enjoyed our stay more!! Thank you so much. We hope to be back sometime.
We would love to have you visit again. Thank you for choosing our spot and for leaving the house in great shape!
Wonderful vacation home!
Stayed at this beautiful ranch for a week in August. Anne and her husband were so sweet and welcoming right from the start! We enjoyed fresh eggs from the chickens, feeding the horses, and the views from the wrap-around porch were breathtaking! We had a group of 11 (8 adults, 2 teenagers, and an infant) and the ranch had plenty of space to accommodate all. One of our favorite things to do was enjoy the sunsets on the porch each night. Highly recommend!
Even more beautiful than the pictures can show. 360 views are amazing.
We had a great time at the Tlazyj. So much room for 2 or 3 families to spread out. Close to town but you still get the rural Montana experience. The chickens and the horses were fun for the kids to interact with. Anne and Dan are amazing hosts, always around if you need anything but they also respect your privacy on vacation. Don't hesitate to stay here!
Thank you for the lovely review. We so enjoyed having you stay here.
Hoping our paths may cross again...Thanks for choosing the Tlazyj.
Great week in Montana
What a gracious, attentive hostess for our wonderful week in Belgrade, MT. We were initially greeted with a bowl of fresh fruit and dozens of fresh flowers. The home is surrounded by @ 180 acres of fields and meadows and awsome vistas of mountains and big skys. The home was comfortable and had most amenities you'd want, although air conditioning would have helped the week we were there as it was quite warm. We woke one morning to learn that we temporarily lost power during the night. A text to Anne about wifi outtage was answered immediately by a personal visit to reset it. Top notch service!
Clean, spacious, serene, comfortable.........all the boxes were checked. Cool evenings led to great sleeps, as my granddaughter would say.
We are 30 min. from historic downtown Bozeman. Here you will find shopping, restaurants, antiques, unique western shops, and the famous Museum of the Rockies. Lewis and Clark Caverns are approx. 40 min away and offer the largest caverns of the Western States. This area is known for its blue ribbon fishing and Bridger Bowl and Big Sky Ski Resort are within a 60/90 min drive from our home. On the ranch you can find many areas to walk and explore. Within 15 to 45 min you can find gentle floats or white water rafting.
