We had a great time at the holiday apartment. The balcony is very cosy and you have a nice view over the little town. The way to the beach is short and it goes down hill so it's just a few minutes to walk. The owners a really nice and cared a lot about us.
We had a problem with the toilet flush and Guerrino looked immediately after it.
Also we had two wonderful evenings at Guerrinos bar and he gave us some useful insider information.
All in all we had a nice stay and would like to go back anytime.
My family arrived in Venice a week before our cruise. Staying in a suite at the Danieli we read about Lake Garda and decided to look on VRBO to find a house we could rent and see the local sites. Best decision we made our entire trip. Everything was either in walking distance or a short car ride. Whether walking down to the lake for a swim, eating at a local ristorante, and hiking up the mountains situated just behind this fantastic location, I felt we were part the village. Some of our most restful days of the trip. If I had it to do over again, I would have dumped the cruise, and stayed a week or two longer in Toscolano Maderno.
My husband and I had a great mini-vacation at this cute and friendly place. A really nice apartment with terrace! Close to the beach and a short bike ride to many cafes and shops.
Very charming! Very nice owners!
I can really recommend it!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely Villa. The location was fabulous ! The faint chime of the village church bells and the aroma of coffee gently woke us each morning. We started each day drinking in the Italian sunshine, sipping our coffee on the veranda and enjoying the local sights and sounds of the Village of Fasano. Our morning walks included strolls through the picturesque streets, vigorous hikes up the hill behind the villa and short jaunts down to beautiful Bernella Beach. Lake Garda is truly gorgeous and the water and beaches are pristine. Our accommodations were very clean and comfortable and the local neighbors were so friendly and helpful in providing advice for great restaurants and directions for tourist spots and destinations. We highly recommend this particular Villa and the surrounding town of Fasano for your next trip to fabulous Italy ! Ciao !
A vacation of a lifetime without blowing your budget!
Come experience Italian village life and fully recharge your batteries while making friends that will keep you returning year after year.
Awake at sunrise to the sound of local church bells and Italian grandmothers planning the family lunch, as they hang freshly washed linens before the day’s heat.
After a strong morning espresso at the local cafe and a glance at last night’s soccer scores, wander across the street for a morning lake swim (at 1 of 2 beaches less than 5 minutes walk) before returning home for a healthy breakfast of local breads, fruits and cheeses on your terrace.
Our bright yellow villa with cascading geraniums is located in Piazzetta Bornico, just north of the medieval village of Salo, where Mussolini commanded the Republic of Italy during World War II. His palace can best be seen from the lake during a day tour by ferry to Malcesine or Limone.
The road behind the house turns to cobblestone as it climbs at 28% grade through the 300 year old villages and breath-taking lake views from Fasano Sopra, Bezzuglio and Tresnico, stone houses built precariously on the mountain edge surrounded by ancient olive groves.
Relax and soak up the sun on the two (2) local beaches: Bernella Beach (5 minute walk) and Fasano Beach (3 minute walk).
Other “must-see’s” include Vittoriale, the hillside estate and shrine of Italian writer and war hero Gabriele d'Annunzio, who lived there from 1922 until his death in 1938.
The Vittoriale is one of Italy’s most visited museums with about 200,000 visitors per year, but not many know of the secret evening musica and theater events in this breathtakingly beautiful setting.
Ferry service from Fasano (3 minute walk) or Maderno (15 min walk) service Limone, Malcensine, Riva, Desenzano, Sirmoine, Salo and many other lakeside villages
