Quiet place , very relaxing
If you are looking for a quiet place to relax and forget about the crowded DC area, this is where you should go. Very clean, cozy, river view, and a welcome local made bottle of wine ( very good stuff) are just a few things coming to my mind right now. Very friendly owners too.
Great place to get away
This is a great spot! The cabin looks out over the river, and the deck in particular was the perfect place to sip coffee and read. Robert and Melissa were so friendly, and have gear for kayak and fishing rentals -- they even offered to drive us down the road a few miles so that we could have a multi-hour float down the river! The cabin was good quality and cozy. Would definitely come stay again.
Comfortable Get Away
This cozy cottage is perfect for a week long or a weekend get away. We especially enjoyed the hospitality of our hosts. We will surely return and explore the surrounding area more.
Angela and Mike are awesome guest. The weather was not cooperating but they are troopers! They visited the River Bridge Bait an Tackle / Junk-N-Stuff shop and talked what seemed like hours. Mike and Angela are very knowledgeable about antiques. I could have spent the whole day yacking and trading stories but had to let them get back to there vacation. Hopefully they will return to do some kayaking, fishing or just take in the beautiful sites along the river. Thanks so much!
