The Hideaway is an end unit apartment in the heart of downtown Carpinteria. This is a nicely appointed two bedroom, two bath upstairs apartment with a secure and private two car garage underneath. You are just a short walk from charming Linden Avenue, the train station and Carpinteria's top rated beaches. This unit provides you everything you will need for a relaxing getaway, business trip or visiting family.

Each bedroom has a queen sized pillow top bed, flat screen TV, night stands and an on-suite bathroom. The living room includes a TV, blu-ray player, queen sized sleeper sofa, and a small table that seats 2-4 people. The modern kitchen has granite counters and boasts all new appliances. What I especially liked about this place is that it had two master bedrooms. Each had their own bathroom, which was perfect when you are traveling with two couples, and you feel awkward with one having a master and the other doesn't. So I really liked that. I also liked the 2 car garage, so that we could park the car, but still have room for our bikes. The location is perfect: walking distance to everything, and right around the corner from Inland Brewing Company. Definitely would like to stay here again.

Cozy and convenient to all of Carpinteria

There for 4 of us who stayed here for my sisters wedding. The condo was perfect for what we needed, just a place to sleep and make a quick breakfast and lunch. The only downside is the train is only a block away and travels through very early in the morning (3am). Woke us up every morning.

Great location and perfect set up for our needs.

Clean and well equipped. Bedroom windows need some repair (crank) and TV in main living area went out and could not be reset. Loved the area and having a garage was a nice perk. Beds were very comfortable. Thank you!

Carpinteria is a delightful town and we really enjoyed our stay. Property managers are responsive and brought us a fan when the temps rose higher than normal. No A/C but ceiling fans in every room and the ocean breeze At night keeps you cool. Comfy linens and towels and nice pans and utensils in kitchen. Nice garage to use. Great stay for two couples on vacation near Santa Barbara.

We fell in love with Carpenteria, but not the peanuts..

My husband and I stayed a month as we were transitioning from one city and needed more time to find our new home. I hate saying this but the condo was not clean :( the bedding was stained, the flooring was stained and there was dust on top of the toilet and bathroom counter tops. We did call Lisa and she was a bit defensive at first, but then spoke with the owner who was kind enough to give us options - move out with full refund or replace the bedding. We opted to have the bedding (mattress, mattress cover, sheets) replaced as we had no where else to go and it was easiest to simply stay.

The stains on the floor were not acknowledged saying there were just resulting from the plumber or someone who tracked in tar at some point. Lisa said she would talk to the cleaning lady and seemed honestly shocked at how dirty the condo was.

I took it upon myself to vacuum & dust so I could make the condo clean. When vacuuming I kept finding peanuts - under the couch, under the stove, under the beds. I kept laughing... they were everywhere and thought how were these never cleaned up before we started our stay? If peanuts were missed, what else was missed?

The location is good - it's just hard to be directly next to a Veterinary hospital hearing crying animals during the week :( We could walk to the beach! Walk to Island Brewery! Walk to lots of great restaurants. Had a two car garage - which unfortunately broke while we were there (just worn out) and was replaced.

We fell in love with Carp! We were glad to have a place to stay for the month as we had no where else to go. Just wish it had been cleaner.
