About the property

3 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom, Sleeps 8-10

Welcome to our beautiful cabin!

Well-equipped as a relaxing getaway, there is high-speed wireless internet and local cell service to help keep you connected if you choose. Spend time on our large deck, with part of it covered for enjoying a mountain rainstorm in the outdoors and part of it open for unrestricted access to the beautiful mountain skies. A fire pit awaits you as well, making a hot dog roast and s'mores just a few steps away.

For your entertainment needs we offer satellite television in our living room on a fantastic 55 inch LED TV, a Blu-Ray player, and access to Netflix, Hulu, and more. The master bedroom also has a TV with Blu-Ray and satellite. With 15Mb wireless internet, you can access your own entertainment from anywhere in the cabin or outside. If you need to slip into 'workation' mode, dial in from the deck and enjoy the brisk mountain air while doing it.

This three bedroom cabin has 1 king bedroom, a queen bedroom, and a kids room. The kids room has a bunk bed with two crib mattresses plus a queen. The cabin will comfortably accommodate 4-6 adults plus additional children. The dining room seats 6, but there is additional seating space on the deck and around the cabin.

The downstairs bath features a shower, the upstairs is a full bath with tub and shower. The kitchen is well-equipped with microwave, and coffee maker in addition to the standard kitchen appliances - if you get bored of using the kitchen to cook we have a gas grill outside. We have a washer and dryer as well for those longer stays, and all towels and linens are provided.

Top it all off with plenty of parking - 5 vehicles can comfortably park with the circular driveway, with pull-up access for a big pickup with a toy hauler.

If you are looking for a rental in the area then you probably already know about everything there is to do, but here are some of the nearby activities:

- 5 national parks just hours away (Bryce, Zion, Arches, Capitol Reef, Canyonlands)

- Too many state parks, national monuments, and other outdoor destinations to list.

- Mountain biking trails

- A major ski resort at Brian Head

- 600 miles of ATV/snowmobile trails with local rentals

- Several lakes and streams for fishing

- Caving, with several small caves in the immediate area

- Hiking

- Many incredible scenic drives

- Winter sports including snow-shoeing, cross-country skiing, and sledding

We know you will love our cabin as much as we do!

Guestbook comments from the owner

Wow, what a cabin! We have never had so much fun sledding, and having a big TV for the kids to gather around while drinking hot chocolate afterwards was perfect. We loved all the deck space to sprawl out on, and having the entire deck fenced off and gated (kid friendly!) really sets this cabin apart.

We look forward to our next visit!

Cozy Cabin Retreat

  • 4 of 5

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. Our favorite spot was the roomy deck off the front. With the gates across all of the openings, we were able to let our small dogs be outside with us without fear of them roaming away. We watched the deer and other animals run through the property.

The cabin was well stocked and everything we needed for our stay. For those who like to stay connected, the satellite TV and internet worked flawlessly.

We took several rides on our quads around the streets of Duck Creek and the many trails leading multiple directions out of the village.

The owner (James) was very responsive to my questions and access to the cabin was simple. If you don't have a 4wd, or you are hauling a trailer, ask about the alternative route.

The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because there were a lot of cobwebs. Previous reviewers had stated they were there, but said there were no spiders. Unfortunately, we had several spiders both large and small. So... if you have any fears, beware.

They are building on the lot next door, but they were very good about the noise and dust.

I would definitely recommend this cabin.

Cozy cabin

  • 4 of 5

Cabin was clean and enjoyed our stay. Only thing that I would address is the wifi. We had 8 people staying in the cabin and only 4 were able to sign on. Don't know if it was limited to a certain amount of guests but that was a little bit of an inconvenience. The road up to the cabin was really rough but that isn't the owners fault. We had a 12 passenger van that struggled up but we made it. Overall, very relaxing quite stay. Kids enjoyed the deer walking around property.

I will return to this cabin

  • 5 of 5

Myself and my family really enjoyed the cabin and the area. It was exactly what I anticipated being familiar with the area and knowing the terrain. Access was good even in the rain ( there are 2 ways up the hill.) The owners were very easy to work with and responsive should you have any questions. I would highly recommend this to anyone that wants to get out and enjoy being in the mountains. Cozy Cabin is the perfect name for this cabin, and it is priced very reasonably for everything that is included. I will return to this cabin with my family again.

Perfect for our needs

  • 5 of 5

This cabin definitely exceeded my and my family's expectations - really much nicer in person than the pictures show. Everything felt clean and relatively new/upgraded while still having the coziness and quaint style of a cabin. The deck was beautiful and very large, wrapping around almost the entire house. The surrounding area was quiet and beautiful - several deer approached the outside deck during our stay. The inside of the home was much more spacious than I expected. With 5 adults and 3 children (2 toddlers and an infant), I still felt we had plenty of space, things were able to stay relaxing and quiet. The rooms were large (I was able to fit 2 pack n play cribs in the room I slept in), and were able to stay nice and dark with the curtains/blinds if you chose to keep the sunlight out in the morning (which was a plus for me with two kids who are used to sleeping with blackout curtains at home). Also the two upstairs rooms had direct access to an outside balcony which was a lovely plus. I really appreciated how child-friendly the house was. There was a built in safety gate at the top of the stairs, safety gates all around the deck at any opening that led down a set of stairs - as well as a high chair, toddler utensils, cups and bowls. Bottom line, we would absolutely rent this cabin again when returning to Duck Creek.
