Beautiful location. wife and I stayed here for 3 days just to relax. it was just what the doctor ordered. and just 10 minutes from one of the nicest little town in Maryland. Nice leisurely walks for sightseeing. and our Lab really loved the water.

My family enjoyed the peace and quiet that our house provided. Perfect location for safe biking, walking, running, kayaking, crabbing and fishing. The house was very clean and comfortable. Short ride to St. Michaels. Hope to return someday.

Wonderful waterfront property

  • 5 of 5

A great place to get away from it all. The setting is quiet and peaceful. The cottage is roomy and well equipped. The river is great for kayaking and the views are beautiful. Russ and Cindy are very hospitable and go out of their way to be accommodating. Already looking forward to visiting again!

A slice of paradise

  • 5 of 5

The little house is perched on the edge of a small finger of the Chesapeake Bay. From the deck one has a long view of the water. There is a private dock, and one could easily launch a kayak from the shore or the dock, or tie up a small sailboat. Alas, the water was not suitable for swimming (jellyfish). This place is removed from everything, being a ten-fifteen minute drive to the nearest town (St Michaels). It is dog-friendly. The inside was not luxurious, but who wants luxury on the shore of the Chesapeake? There were five us of in our group (a multigenerational family that included a toddler), and a large dog. We were not feeling cramped at all for space. The kitchen was very well equipped, considering it was a vaca rental. Everything worked as advertised. The landlord was helpful and responsive to our needs. All in all, it was one of the, if not THE best vrbo experiences we have had (and we have had more than a few).

A peaceful and lovely place

The cottage was well-stocked with bedding, towels, house supplies, etc. Cindy and Rusty were available and always helpful with advice about local restaurants and activities. The creek is beautiful and perfect for kayaking and fishing. We would like to come back for future visits.
