About Vacasa, OR - Oregon Coast Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this homeour team is standing by!

Worst place I've ever stayed.

 • 1 of 5

The home owners were extremely inconsiderate. They knew that we'd be staying here for our honeymoon. They scheduled contractors to come work on the home and deck while we were staying there. They also woke us up at 6 am the first two mornings we were there. If you want happy customers, you should replace your manager Matthew with someone who actually cares about people other than himself. When contacting HomeAway about the matter, we were told it was out of their hands. We spent an entire day trying to find a different home to stay in.

This is an awesome getaway for a couple- very romantic and beautiful sunsets, with a great view of Haystack Rock and Cape Kiwanda. It's a quick drive from town- very quiet- a perfect getaway

Quiet and Relaxing

 • 5 of 5

An overall great place to stay! The view of the ocean and sunset from the porch was wonderful! We saw deer every morning and evening in the front and back yard. Very peaceful here!

Great view but has problems

 • 3 of 5

The rental is in a nice location and has great views, is super quiet and has great potential = but there were problems. The unit is in a residential section up on a steep hill and some of the roads to get to it are unpaved and uneven. You will need to drive into town.

The unit itself has some big issues. First is the bed which sinks like a taco in the middle. We ended up sleeping with our heads at the foot as it was a bit firmer on that end, but it is definitely the worst bed I think I have ever had in a rental like this. The unit could have been cleaner, the shower wasn't really clean and we found hair in the shower and kitchen cabinet. We found a dead bug in our bed the first night as well. These things were a bit yucky for us but the rest of the unit seemed clean and so we decided to not focus on it and enjoy our stay.

The kitchen is not meant for any real cooking. There is a hot plate and a small frying pan and a small sauce pan. No steaming clams here! No cutting board, no real wine glasses, the 2 coffee mugs were an odd shape and stained. All in all it is pretty sparse. There are no window coverings on the 2 north facing windows so it gets bright early. Lastly, there is no place to unpack and put your things. The closet is large but only had 3 hangers and no shelves. We ended up putting all of the knick-knacks on the floor and using the table surface for our clothes. The drawers that were there had stuff in them.
