About the property

3 Queen Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, Sleeps 8

Our beautiful 3 bedroom 2 full bath home sitting on a huge tree filled lot right on the Cumberland River only ten minutes from downtown Nashville, called Reflections on the Cumberland, was totally renovated in 2013 with granite counter tops throughout. Most of the floors are hardwood and tile with carpeted bedrooms. The home has a river theme with a little music city mixed in. All three bedrooms are equipped with queen beds. We have a queen sofa sleeper in the living room. The kitchen- living room-dining room and master bedroom all have a beautiful view of the Cumberland River. A gas tank less water heater provides never ending hot water. The main attraction is the Cumberland River just steps from the back door and patio area.

We are between two large shopping centers, Opry Mills and Rivergate. Great restaurants abound just minutes from your door. The East Nashville restaurant and night club scene is only a four minute drive. Downtown Broad Street, Tootsies, Second Avenue, Hard Rock Cafe, and the entire downtown restaurant and night club scene is only ten minutes away.

The nationally known Hermitage Golf Course is only a four or five minute drive, and Riverside Golf Center is about two and a half miles. Plenty of history abounds in the area as the Trail of Tears went about a half mile from the home. President Andrew Jackson's home [The Hermitage is a short drive away as well as Vanderbilt and Belmont Universities. A replica of The Parthenon is ready for you to enjoy in Centennial Park.

About Jack

My wife and I have been in the real estate business the last forty years. The last ten years have been devoted to resort and vacation rentals along with other long term rental projects. We have vacation rentals in Pigeon Forge TN and Myrtle Beach SC as well. We wanted a property closer to home and found this gem on the Cumberland River.

Jack purchased this house in 2013

Why Jack chose Heron Walk

My wife and I have been trying to find riverfront property for ten years and this opportunity happened a couple of months ago. Nashville and the surrounding area has been our home for the last forty years.

What makes this house unique

You do not have to drive anywhere to enjoy river sights-huge towboats and showboat paddle wheelers. You can enjoy them from your living room, bedroom or back yard lawn.

The pictures posted for this lovely vacation home were spot on. When we walked into the home, we were so impressed with the decor, cleanliness, and how everything was provided with the rental. We had 4 adults and 4 children (ages 1-9) and they loved it! We took a tour down the river on General Jackson, and pointed the house out to our family staying in a hotel. I think that's why they came over for a dinner during our stay, to further check out the home, and they couldn't stop complimenting the house. Jack, we appreciate the open lines of communication, answering any questions, and providing sites to see during our stay. We'd definitely recommend this beautifully renovated home and hopes to come back again for another stay with you all.

Great patio with a view of the Cumberland River.

  • 5 of 5

The property is well maintained. The patio is large with a great view of the Cumberland River.

The property is also very close to the Grand Ole Opry and there is a major road that can get you almost anywhere and in town quickly.

Would highly recommend this property if you are staying in Nashville several days.

Can't wait to go back ! ! ! !

  • 4 of 5

10 to 15 minutes from Downtown, on a quiet dead end street. This house offers you peace and quiet the city can't. With the Cumberland River only feet away and a huge back yard to relax in from the night before. Three good size bedrooms easily accommodates three couples just looking to get away for some rest and relaxation. Would definitely rent again ! ! !

We enjoyed our stay on Berwick Trl. Really enjoyed the view of the Cumberland River.

  • 5 of 5

Whenever we travel, we enjoy staying at VRBO's, and have always had good results.

The house was very nice and clean. Air conditioning worked great. Nice to come home to a quite, cool place after touring all day. The house is just a little bit out of town, but easy to get to and felt very safe. But we specifically selected this location because of the view of the Cumberland river from the back patio. We enjoyed having our morning coffee and planning the days activities on the covered patio.

The property was beautifully kept clean and immaculate!! I felt it was almost too sparse with bare essentials such as serving dishes ,dish towels ,blow dryers and coat hangers etc.. Other than that we loved it and definitely would highly recommend it!!! Thanks Jack we will be back!!
