Perfect for our needs
Our BOISE home was great for our first trip to beautiful Idaho. Loved staying in the north end historic neighborhood. Working with Matt B. was great. The rental home is close to everything. So easy and fun.
Cozy Bungalow, Great Neighborhood, Close to Everything
We loved our time at the North End Bungalow. The house was comfortable and very well appointed. We found the neighborhood charming. The proximity to everything in downtown Boise was unbeatable. We were there for a wedding and were able to walk to the church and the reception. When not attending the wedding, we loved the 10 minute walk to Hyde Park restaurants and shopping. We had great meals at Hyde Perk coffee, North End Pizza, Cloud 9 Brewing and Capital Cellars downtown. We found the owner, Matt, pleasant to work with and would definitely return to this great spot on our next trip to Boise.
Lovely North-end Location...
Loved the location and lovely sunroom for morning coffee and reading! Floor plan of the home is very awkward. Also, needs some TLC on the exterior of the home. Cobwebs and dirt everywhere. Just needs some "sprucing up"...
Thanks for the input! We power wash all the houses every spring after the weather improves. You just got there a little early this year!
OK, BUT COULD USE SOME MAJOR ONGOING MAINTENACE AND UPGRADING IN SOME AREAS.
NICE INTERIOR AND FURNISHINGS IN THE REPAINTED ROOMS, LIVING ROOM, DINING ROOM, BEDROOMS SHOWN ON THE WEBSITE.
BEDROOMS WELL APPOINTED WITH SHEETS BLANKETS ETC
BATHROOM AND KITCHEN NEED MAJOR UPGRADING, NEW APPLIANCES, VENTILATION ,CABINETS ETC, . WEIRD TUB/ SHOWER ARRANGEMENT.
OUTSIDE ALSO NEEDED ATTENTION WITH MAJOR POWER WASH AND FRONT ENTRANCE CLEANUP. PORCH NEEDS MAINTENANCE TO IMPROVE APPEARANCE AND FIRST IMPRESSION WHEN ARRIVING. BACKYARD ALSO NEEDS A GOOD CLEANUP.
These guests were apparently expecting a new suburban house, not an older classic North End bungalow. They are the only non-5 star rating I have received at this house in over two years and it was because in their words "it needs updating." I may think about updating the bathroom and kitchen someday, but everyone's taste is different and I would also be raising the rates. The outside gets cleaned up when the weather improves for the season and my lawn crew gets to it. I'm sorry you were disappointed!

My husband and I stayed here for a month with our 14 month old mini Australian shepherd and when we arrived there were fresh flowers waiting for us. We absolutely loved the bungalow, from the large dining room, to the colorful kitchen, to the well laid out living room. The furniture was all comfortable, including the beds. Our young dog was especially appreciative of the fenced in yard and the dog door (as were we). The neighborhood was great and close to everything. We enjoyed many walks with our pup through this historic area. The property manager, Matt, was available for questions etc., but we really didn't have any. Everything ran like clockwork from the moment we put the key in the door. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
Lots of things to do within a bicycle ride from the house!

Rates are subject to change until reservations are confirmed. Renters are required to pay a refundable $100 damage deposit thru VRBO, and a non-refundable $80 cleaning fee. Guests are required to clean at the end of your stay and strip the linens from the beds used. The house will be inspected after your departure for cleanliness and damage.
