Ground Level Condo On Beautiful Amelia Island Adjacent To Ft. Clinch State Park
Complete interior renovation on this unit in 2017 along with the exterior renovation to the building that was completed in 2016 means Marhaba Shores is "like new."
This corner unit is located on the ground floor which means you don’t have climb the stairs to get to your front door or to your bedroom. The open floor plan of the living room and dining area gives a spacious feeling. Leather furniture that provides plenty of reclined seating for watching the 42” flat-screen tv (premium cable channels and Netflix available), napping, or just chillin’ with friends and family. A large table in the dining area is perfect for meals, board games, or puzzles. Free high speed wi-fi internet is provided throughout the condo.
The bedrooms are located down a hallway for privacy and noise control. The large master bedroom has a queen sized bed, lots of storage, and an adjacent bathroom with a walk in shower, vanity sink, and toilet. Basic cable television with remote control and a charging station for your phone keep you connected. Sliding glass doors access a private patio with seating where you can enjoy your morning coffee while you watch the birds, or maybe you will even see a gopher tortoise or a deer.
At the end of the hallway there is a bedroom with twin beds (2). This bedroom has basic cable television, a DVD player, and charging station for your phone. Windows look out on the green space at the rear of the condo.
The third bedroom has a queen sized bed, extra large closet for storage, basic cable television and a charging station for your phone. Shared bathroom is just across the hall.
The hall bathroom has a tub with shower, vanity sink, and toilet. Bed linens, bath linens and beach towels are furnished for your use while staying at the condo.
The well-appointed kitchen adds to the convenience and affordability of your beach vacation. Major appliances, including dishwasher, garbage disposal, refrigerator with ice maker, stove with oven, and built-in microwave are there, as well as coffee maker, toaster, and slow cooker. There are pots and pans for cooking and baking, dishes, glassware, and utensils, right down to the pot holders, dish towels, and salt and pepper. If you need to do laundry, there is a washer and a dryer at the condo.
The Fernandina Shores condo complex has a tennis court and pool which are available for your use and are conveniently located just down the sidewalk from this unit.
Grab a beach chair and towel and head for the ocean, which is a short 3 block walk from the front door. There are beach lifeguards on duty during the summer from Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend. The amenities on the north end include Main Beach Park, with a beachfront children’s playground, volleyball courts, covered gazebos, and mini-golf at Fernandina’s Putt-Putt (a blast from the past). The nearby Fernandina Beach Skate Park is open to the public daily from dusk to dawn.
The condo is adjacent to the historic Ft. Clinch state park property. Fort Clinch is one of the most well-preserved 19th century forts in the country. Take a tour and see re-enactors bring the fort to life for visitors. Hikers and bicyclists can enjoy a six-mile trail through the park.
Speaking of biking, there are bicycle rental concessions on the island, and miles of paved and off-road paths to explore. The Amelia Island Trail is an off-road paved trail on Amelia Island’s south end that runs along sections of the island’s large resorts. The trail runs between the Nassau Sound bridge at Amelia Island State Park all the way to Peters Point Park beach access. Bike lanes continue south off the island along A1A and connect with trails at Big Talbot Island State Park. Explore the interior of the island biking on the 7 miles of trails along the Egans Creek Greenway.
Downtown Fernandina Beach is just a couple of miles away. Step back in time as you stroll the streets of this quaint, historic seaport with shopping, galleries, museums, and historic homes and architecture. At day's end watch the sunset over the harbor, and then enjoy dinner at one of the many dining options---on the riverfront, Centre Street, or in a quiet courtyard down a side street.
If you are planning a family vacation, spring break get-away, reunion, wedding, or checking out places to retire or relocate, we invite you to consider this your home away from home while you are here. Marhaba! Welcome!

Beautiful condo! Great location!
We had a wonderful three night stay at this lovely condo. Very spacious, very clean and so very comfortable. Great location! Walk thru a beautiful neighborhood to the beach....which is also very beautiful and wide open. Ride into Historical downtown or Fort Clinch Park on your rented bikes, which is a perfect way to explore the Island. We look forward to our next visit.
Highly recommend. Thank you!!!
Perfectly updated, end unit condo for a little getaway. Not a far walk from the beach (5 minutes), easy to find, and shopping center located not far for essentials. This condo had all the necessities we needed and felt right at home. We enjoyed our stay and would return.
Clean, close to beach, town, & restaurants, liked amenities.
We had a last minute booking due to being stuck in Florida for an adoption. We decided to come to Amelia Island as it is close to the border and we are allowed to leave as soon as paperwork is finalized. We were taken care of efficiently, and allowed early check in as it is the off season. Loved the place, especially the laundry, the premium cable, and all the charging stations. With a new baby those things came in handy. Our 3 year old fell in love with the Pippi Longstocking DVD that was in the spare bedroom and watched the movie multiple times, she also liked the games. Will definitely book in the future when the baby is old enough to come back. Amelia Island might be a new regular vacation spot, this is the first time we have been here and really like the area. The neighbors were really friendly, as well as their dogs. The 3 year old also liked the pool. Overall a great experience. Thanks
Perfect rental for our family of four! We had a great time and can't wait to stay here again!
Close to everything on the Island including short walk to the beach and short drive to historic downtown. Everything we needed was at our fingertips. We had a great time staying at this clean, comfortable, quiet location. Would definitely recommend this property and hope to stay there again!!
Great Vacation Spot
Thanks for a lovely stay. We had a wonderful time. The location was perfect and the accommodations were excellent. Very clean, updated and well supplied condo with only a short walk to the beach. Couldn't ask for more. We would definitely book this again.
Amelia Island's Victorian-style mansions, historic shopping district and seaport village make this destination a charming vacation spot for families. Home to Fernandina Beach, Amelia Island is only 30 minutes away from Jacksonville International Airport.
