This 2 Bedroom Guest House Sleeps 4!

This newly remodeled front cottage was relocated here from down the street in the 1950's. It is sustainably remodeled with locally sourced reclaimed wide plank floors, pebble bathroom/shower floors and plastered walls in the kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen contains a stainless steel stove and side by side refrigerator, Viking dishwasher and reclaimed wood island for prepping and eating your meals. The bedrooms are located in the rear of the house. Both have ample storage space. This bungalow features a vaulted, open beamed grand room that encompasses the kitchen, eating area and living room. It looks out onto a garden and it's own patio with table and chairs. The front garden of lavender and olive trees is your morning view. On our block you'll find friendly neighbors out for a walk or a jog. You are right within walking distance to many local boutiques, coffee and yogurt shops, restaurants. End your evening with a stroll and take in the fresh ocean air. One parking spot comes with your rental.

The Guest House is located in the heart of Santa Monica. 9 blocks from the ocean north of Wilshire. Everything you could wish for in a city surrounds you. The house is located on a quaint neighborhood side street shaded by trees and blessed with an afternoon ocean breeze. Stroll up our block and find everything you need on this boutique lined Street. Shops that offer you the latest in fashion design,

imported antiques , salon services and art house movie theatre. Did we mention two grocery stores?

If you are into a more vibrant feel, walk to the 3rd Street Promenade. The new mall features a Tiffany's, For All Mankind, Bloomingdale's, BOSS Hugo Boss, CB2, Coach & James Perse and roof dining and courtyard entertainment. Don't miss the Kitson store located on the east side of the mall entry.

Everywhere you turn in Santa Monica there are restaurants with menus featuring food from all around the world. There is a Farmer's Market every Wednesday and Saturday where you can pick up California's best organic vegetables, fruit and fish.

Bike or walk to the beach. It is only 9 blocks away. Cross over one of the many bridges that bring you right down to the beach. No need to jump into your car. Enjoy an afternoon on the beach and in the ocean. When it's time to go you won't be stuck in traffic and you won't lose your car in a parking lot filled with rows of automobiles. Just walk home. On the bike path you can rent bikes and head to the famous Venice Beach for some t-shirts and people watching. Along the way you will ride under the Santa Monica Pier. Here you can fish, enjoy the rides or visit a children's museum. During the summer enjoy the free Thursday nights concerts. Pack your dinner, a blanket and enjoy the sunset and music with the rest of The Santa Monica Community.

Step into the clean and simple life. Reclaimed wide plank wood floors and white pitched ceilings give you the spaciousness you need without losing the cozy feeling you desire. The kitchen opens up into the living area making this a great space. There is seating for 4 at the kitchen island or for 2 at the cafe table looking out onto a little private garden. The bedrooms are comfortable with plenty of storage. The pool is the icing on the cake. It doesn't get any better than this if you are looking for the perfect vacation property in Santa Monica. It is a 3 minute walk to the grocery store. There are a number of wonderful places to eat within walking distance. Want to walk to the beach? Just head west for a couple of blocks and there are a number of overpasses that bring you right down to the beach. Head over the bridge and you're at the beach! Forget the hotel lobby & still have everything you need right at your fingertips.

Perfect Location

We had the best Spring Break. This bungalow is absolutely adorable and walking distance to everything. (Grocery, Starbucks, beach, Promenade) We would venture out on a hike, Malibu surfing, LA sightseeing, bike ride to Venice Beach, and come back to the pool or the beach before walking to a fabulous restaurant for dinner. Lisa sets you up with everything and answers all of your questions. We will be back for sure. Love Santa Monica!!

Cozy and ultra comfortable bungalow. Walking distance from best Santa Monica places.

We had one of our best vacations in LA where we've been travelling for the last 17 years.

We stayed for about 40 days at bungalow #2, a tiny jewell, absolutely comfortable and well equipped. The nearness (just one block) from Montana shops and restaurants ads a special flavour to one"s stay at this cozy property. We stayed there in winter but the pool shared with the back bungalow surely is an important facility to consider for summer vacation.

Congratulations for the wonderful and simple house decoration and the careness of the management.

Great location close to Montana

This is a lovely stand alone bungalow. Spacious and light with seating for 6 people to eat. Very comfortable beds which is often not the case in holiday rentals. Well equipped kitchen and Lisa quickly supplied a couple of missing items. The pool is an added bonus. Although it is shared with another bungalow we always had it to ourselves. Lisa is a lovely host! She responds to any request quickly and efficiently. Will definitely stay there again.

Spectacular location, comfort & pool!

The cottage had everything we could ask for during our time in southern California. The home was clean, the pool was refreshing, kitchen was well-stoked with cooking and food prep needs and the beds were comfy! The location is incredible, easy walk to the bluffs and all the shops and cute restaurants you could ask for. Lisa & Collette are well versed on all the happenings, were responsive, helpful and met all of our needs. I miss it already!

To keep the Bungalows in pristine shape for our guests we now require bi-weekly maid service.
This is be paid for with a separate check determined upon the length of stay.
Check out time is 10:30 am. Check in time is 4:00 pm. We are happy to provide an early check in if the
bungalow is clean and ready to go. Just ask.
Late check outs are possible if we don't have a guest arriving. If you want to stay after 12:00 pm. it is an additional $75.00 charge until 6:00 pm.

Until confirmed, rates are subject to change without notice.

Monthly rate is based on a 30 day occupancy.

We will refund your payment if you cancel before 30 days of your arrival date minus credit card fees and a $200 administrative fee.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

100% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
