About the property

2 Studio's, Sleeps 4 With Hot Tub, Private Beach, Fire Pit, And Great Views!

Take a break from busy city life and visit Sea Cliff Cottage. It's a wonderful get away for a romantic weekend or a family beach adventure.

Sea Cliff Cottage is a charming Cape Cod style cottage perched above your own 60' of private waterfront on Hood Canal. A large deck & yard provide plenty of open space. Small boats may be tied up on the beach, which slopes down to a plentiful oyster bed at low tide. Beautiful Hood Canal is blessed with some of the warmest water in the Puget Sound, and is famous for it's delicious clams and oysters. Enjoy swimming, snorkeling, boating, tubing, crabbing and fishing at your private beach -- note that the private beach is just across the street from the Cottage.

Have a sunset dinner on the large deck or relax in the hot tub which allows privacy while still offering 180 degree views of the water, stars, moon, and north shore lights. Cozy up around the outdoor fire pit, make s'mores or sip wine while watching the sun set over the Olympic Mountains.

Sea Cliff sleeps up to 4 people - 2 in the main cottage, and 2 in the Bunk House. Both have large French doors opening out to the deck and the majestic views of Hood Canal & the Olympics. The main cottage has a kitchenette, eating & TV/living area, bedroom area with queen sized bed and adjoining bathroom. Outside is a generous yard, spacious deck for outdoor living, and covered porch in back. Behind the cottage is the adjoining half-bath (outdoor entrance) and the Bunk House with pull-out double bed couch and additional small flat screen TV (please note there is no bathroom in the bunkhouse).

Parking is across the street from the cottage, on the water side of the street.

Conveniently located near Belfair, Twanoh State Park, and Alderbrook, there are many trails and activities close by, as well as a corner market 1-mile down the road. Enjoy wild life watching: seals, otters, heron, eagles, fish and the occasional whale. We guarantee a wonderful waterfront experience in a beautiful relaxing setting.

Beautiful and peaceful!

  • 4 of 5

We had a wonderful last minute weekend at the cottage! After getting settled and exploring a bit, we really enjoyed the quiet setting, comfy interior and hot tub under the stars! As others have mentioned, very thoughtful touches throughout. The cottage was very clean too. There are a few little things that need some attention now that the off season is coming, but very minor and didn't impact our stay.

Super clean, cozy cottage with everything you need

  • 5 of 5

My husband & I came here to celebrate our 10yr anniversary--our first trip away without kids since our honeymoon--and this cottage did not disappoint. Like others mentioned, it really had everything we needed. We really appreciated all the thoughtful little details: bottle of wine in the fridge, coffee, sugar, salt and some basic cooking spices/herbs, olive oil, kitchenette had plenty of dishes/tableware, kitchen tools, plastic wrap & foil, they had clamming tools, lots of water shoes for use, beach towels, floaty toys for kids, lots of dvds, laundry detergent & bath towels. They even had some qtips and a shampoo/soap and conditioner dispenser in the shower for use. They literally thought of everything! Even fresh flowers and some chocolate candies. The cottage was perfect for the two of us, super clean and relaxing. Oh, also mustadd that in addition to being super clean, the carpet and rug was nice and nee and fluffy. Thank you Emily & Shannon!

Well-appointed and unique cottage

  • 5 of 5

It was a lovely place to re-connect with nature and each other. Awesome view, tons of extras on the back porch. The air was cold but the water was still warm. Saw a rainbow and an eagle. Morning traffic on the road but otherwise very quiet. All you need bring is a bathing suit, sweats, and some food. This place has everything else! Did have a bit of trouble with the hot tub but if I had read ALL the one page of instructions, I would have figured it out much sooner. Plenty to do rain or shine. Very cozy!

Great getaway for the family

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful week-long stay at the cottage! We were so lucky with warm and dry weather, and made the best of our time exploring surroundings. Boys loved the tour of US Destroyer Turner Joy in Bremerton, and a Boeing factory tour north of Seattle and Seattle Awuarium.. We loved hiking in Olympic National Park/National Forest (especially at Cushman lake), oyster digging right at the doorsteps of the cabin, and a walk at a belfair wetland preservation park. Oh, and jacuzzi was great in the evenings, watching sunsets over Olympic mountains. The neighbours were very nice and friendly and gave us tips on attractions around the area.

Cottages were very clean, tastefully decorated and comfortable and kids were thrilled to have a place by themselves. Internet WIFI connection was excellent and we could stay connected to work. Road that separates cottage from the private beach wasn't very busy with cars most of the day, but busy enough for me to worry that kids will run across it to the beach and get hurt (if you have kids, set a strict rules about it!).

The only negative we could think of is cars noise, especially during a weekday rush our, as the cottage is right on the road. But if one wants a waterfront cabin on Hood canal, there is no way around it.

If you are going to Seattle take a Bremerton Ferry ($18.20), the one at Kingston to Edmonds is double of that (charges for a car and all the passengers).

We had a great time and told our friends who love oysters to come here on their vacation.
