Just returned from a great vacation staying 7 nights at this location. The condo is very clean with comfortable furniture and beds. There are two connecting lanai's which are much bigger than most. The property is gated and well maintained. We used the pool and the barbecue area which had very few people using them. The kitchen has plenty of pots, pans, plates, etc. The condo has 4 beach chairs, cooler, 4 boogie boards, snorkel equipment, water shoes, etc in the 2nd bedroom closet. The condo is ocean facing but is across the road from the Hilton and other condo's therefore there is not an ocean view. You can hear cars on the road and periodic mowing of the golf course but this really was not a problem.

There is road work in Kona south of the Airport so staying in this location allowed us to go to the northern beaches ... Kua and Hapuna without having to drive through the Kona traffic. We did experience the traffic when going to Captain Cook's for snorkeling, going out on the tour boats or driving into Kona for shopping and dinner.

I highly recommend this condo.

We Enjoyed It

Overall, we liked this condo and had an amazing week in Hawaii. We stayed here the week of New Years 2018. This part of the island, and the Waikoloa area in particular, is truly special. We'll be returning to Waikoloa as soon as possible.

Pros:

Owner - Dealing with Sarah ahead of our trip was very easy and straight forward. Her welcome guide set us up for the entire week and we had no need to communicate any further. (I will note that the entry door/lock is a little strange and could use an update).

Pool - Great pool area that was never overcrowded, even during the holiday time. We always got 4 chairs together and were able to relax as desired.

Location - We love Waikoloa and this condo is perfectly center. Every morning we would pick a direction and walk. You can explore the Hilton across the street, enjoy views from the rocky oceanfront, visit the Marriott (and their beach on A-Bay), shop at the nearby Market, or grab a Starbucks - All by foot!

Price - The price for this condo was very reasonable and I believe the value offered far exceeds the price.

Beach Gear - The condo comes equipped with everything and anything you need for a day trip to the beach (coolers, towels, chairs, snorkels, boards, & more).

Lanai - As you can see in the pictures, the lanai is great. We enjoyed breakfast on it every morning and a cocktail every day at sun down. Do your shopping near the airport at Target & Costco before heading up to Waikoloa.

Con:

My only negative for the property would be the bedroom situation, which to be fair the owner is clear about in her listing. For the 4 of us (2 adult couples), the second bedroom did not offer quite as much privacy as we would like. This is because the second bedroom has one wall that is all sliding doors and has no attached bath. Plus the bedrooms are right next to one another so you can hear everything. This by no means ruined the condo or trip for us, but just a preference we'll keep in mind for next time.

Overall, this is a clean and nice condo in one of the best areas in all of Hawaii. Get the luxury of being in a resort area, but the privacy and peace of being in your own condo & a quiet complex area.

Spacious wonderfull retreat

I have come to Hawaii Island more than 30times so far. But I love the Big Island best. This is the second time stay in this place.

Vista is best place to do everything.A205 is nice interior furnithing.Breakfast and Dinner at lanai is wonderfull.

All the comforts of home

The unit is well equipped to provide the guests all the comforts of home. I was a guest for an extended period (5 months). I enjoyed the new Beautyrest king mattress in the master bedroom and the extra deep bathtub after long days of tennis and walks around the beautiful Waikoloa beach area. The condo has a wonderful view of palms and the golf course from the extra large lanai. The condo grounds are well maintained and there is a guest office where you can print and fax. The swimming pool and hot tub is one of the best in the resort area. Guest parking can be challenging, because many owners leave their cars covered in the guest parking spaces. The walk to shops and the beach takes less than twenty minutes. The condo is across the street from the Hilton and Marriott resorts, where I enjoyed many meals and sunset views.

Really nice condo in a great location

The condo was very pretty and clean. We had a wonderful stay. It was close to the beach and other attractions. We loved having beach chairs and snorkel equipment to use. The kitchen had plenty of equipment and spices available. I would highly recommend this condo. The balconies were a dream to have coffee on every morning. I'd go back in a second!

Easy access to most activities...... adequate workout facility.....large pool and BBQ area......worth checking out

The property itself is beautiful, well kept, and very tropical. The pool is wonderful, kept pristine, and a gathering point for owners and renters. The Board of Directors has worked hard to not only maintain the property, but retain a community feel and pride of ownership. Owners actually know each other. There is an aloha spirit, in which everyone is ready to help each other out. The location is superb, resting between the properties of the Hilton and Marriott with all of their amenities, beautiful landscaping and endless views. The beach is one of the most picturesque in Hawaii, framed between historic fish pounds and a strip of beach, with all the ocean sports you could want. There are fantastic restaurants within walking distance, and even free entertainment at the Kings’ and Queens’ shops. Even the farmer’s market comes to you, being located in the Kings’ Shops each Wednesday! Shopping for groceries completes the picture, and the place is ideal for anyone who doesn’t want to mess with car rental or driving. For those who wish to explore the island, proximity to the hotels and nearby tour operators offers easy access to everything from touring a macadamia nut factory, to ascending the tallest mountain in the world (Mauna Kea) to seeing an active volcano.

Another aspect is the construction of the buildings, which were built to Japanese earthquake-proof standards, including solid concrete construction, which also makes the unit very quiet.
