This 2 bedrooms 4 guests apartment is a unique opportunity in Paris. It offers a great combination of advantages:

• Tasteful apt design and the numerous windows bathe the apartment in light.

• Accommodates comfortably 4 guests in 2 bedrooms physically away one from one another

• Offers 2 bathrooms linked or close to the bedrooms

This luxury building is nicely decorated with numerous frames and statues in the corridors. It offers a unique courtyard with colorfull greeneries and wide corridors with column style decoration. Additionally, it is an extra safe buildings : on each of the 2 entrances of the building, there are 2 locked doors to go through before entering . Moreover, elevators work with a specific code per floor and elevator.

Last but not least the building is extra calm as too large for the street noise to enter.

Located on the 6th floor, the wooden floored apartment exudes serenity. It is decorated nicely with paintings on the walls. The fact that the owner lives in the apt a few weeks per year guarantees it is well equipped and taken care of.

• On entering the apartment one is welcomed by a small corridor. At its end is located the smaller bedroom. It has a nice window which allows for a lot of natural light and view over roofs. The bedroom offers a comfortable double bed for two. It offers has an integrated closet and drawers, a screen for video games (BYO). A foldable desk may be opened if needed.

• Close to the bedroom, one finds a beautifully tiled bathroom. The bathroom offers a shower, a sink and a toilet. Further down the corridor, to the right, a window over a small courtyard and roofs brings light.

• Right out of the first bedroom another corridor leads to the main living area. The living area offers a living room, a dining space and an open kitchen. It is a very warm place, well designed and convenient. It benefits from 2 windows ( on each side). It offers a sofa and an armchair that can comfortably seat up to 4 guests.

• The dining table can accommodate up to 6 guests. It is foldable if needed. The kitchen is well equipped with all one needs to conjure up and enjoy a nice home cooked meal.

• To the right of the living area is located the master bedroom. The bedroom offers a comfortable queen size bed for two. A closet is built into the wall and a chest of drawers is present for use. The bedroom window has a nice view over the opposite Parisian roofs. You may even see the Eiffel tower between 2 chimneys.

• The second bathroom is directly linked to the master bedroom. It offers a bath tub with a shower, two wash basins and drawers (no toilet)

• A 'moveable' air cond system is supplied. It is a rare avantage in Paris as most apartments would not offer even a fan.

It is worth noting that the building has 2 entrances. One of the entrances faces the Saint Germain square, the Cartier shop opposite the street, and the Monoprix supermarket 20 m on the right. A dream location !

This location is a perfect base to visit Paris. It stays 15 minute by subway to most interesting Paris locations AND is a very charming and restful area to be appreciated after a whole day shopping and walking through museums.

Neighborhood :

• The Saint Germain area is very lively and full of restaurants, cafés, cinemas and trendy shops. The art Galleries of Rue de seine are very close. One reaches the Eglise Saint Sulpice, and Eglise de Saint Germain des Pres in 2 minutes. And there is even a supermarket to conveniently buy food, which is not always easy inside Paris.

• Last but not least, if you have kids, the Luxembourg garden is walking distance (3mn walk).

• This location is a perfect base to visit Paris. It is very central. There are 3 subway stations at walking distance.

We selected this property because of its great location in the middle of the Saint-Germain des Prés neighborhood and the apartment quality and comfort.

It is the main residence of the owner. He rents when going to his secondary residence. For a guest, renting a main residence is a warranty of high quality : it is always maintained at top level. Obvioulsy, the owner puts away personal belonging. There is more than enough space available for guests.

In the heart of shopping

There was only one day that was so hot that we had to use the portable air conditioner. If you use it, I recommend having it in one of the bedrooms. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed to cook after I got ingredients. Several high-end boutiques are all around. Cartier, Swarovski, and Armani are very close. Monoprix is next door, but the grocery part is downstairs. Make sure you buy food before 10pm and before Sunday because they are closed on Sundays. There is a cafe near by named Les Deux Magots (the two budgets), and it is famous - make sure you go for lunch because the dinner menu is almost double in price. From the main bedroom window, you can see the top of the Tower, so we were able to see some of the Bastille Day fireworks. We went over to Trocedero before dark, but it was so crowded that we just came back to the apartment for the night. The Metro line 4 is near, and we were able to get to everything from there. Having the windows open and hearing the sounds of the city was really nice. I recommend this to anyone who needs 2 beds.

Great location, nice building

Like others before me the issue of two bathrooms but only one with a WC is a nuisance. The apt. could do with some TLC, we found clothes in the bathroom closet, in drawers. I would recommend it to a family with two children, perhaps, but not two couples, unless not fussy about the WC situation.

The location is fantastic, the building recently painted and well maintained. I would go back again as long as internet services improve, we had a full day and a half with no WiFi, though in all fairness the agent did try to find a solution to the problem.

Great location, beautiful area!

Wonderful apartment! Despite minor set backs, I would recommend this apartment to anyone staying in Paris. Beautiful location just steps to anything you would need (i.e., food, grocery stores, pharmacy, metro, etc.). Well designed, secure building --although under renovation during my stay, the lobby and surrounding area was very nice.

Excellent séjour à Saint Germain!

J’ai séjourné à l’appartement Abbe 9 jours en novembre. Pour qui aime Saint Germain la situation est idéale. En face du Café de Flore! Au 6ème avec ascenseur(une rareté à Paris) l’appartement est très calme même si situé sur un coin des plus achalandé de Paris.

Grand pour des standards parisiens , les deux chambres sont à chaque bout de l’appartement ce qui permets à chacun son intimité.

Le building ainsi que l’appartement sont très bien tenu. Nous avons expérimenté un petit bris pendant le séjour et Jean-Noel s’en est occupé avec une célérité étonnante pour Paris!

Bref que du positif pour cet appartement! Je connais très bien Paris pour y avoir séjourné une vingtaine de fois , mais la prochaine fois je retourne à Abbe sans aucune hésitation!

Great location! Clean! Only One toilet in this "two" bathroom unit.

This was our first vacation rental ever. We were always worried about cleanliness, this place was very CLEAN. My husband and I and our teen son stayed 6 nights in the apartment. It was great having extra space to hang out in the living room and we bought breakfast groceries and made breakfast in most mornings. We LOVED the location! Great for walking to major sights or taking the subway. Convenient grocery store next door. Great bakery not too far away. We did miss having hotel staff to guide us and make recommendations on where to eat, but used the 4square app. to find great local places to eat. There is a taxi stand around the corner which we were able to use to get to the airport.

The apartment was very roomy. Our son had the front bedroom. The bed is lodged between 3 walls, so it may be awkward with two people in that bed as the inside person will have to climb over the bed partner to get out. The master bedroom was small, but had walking area around the bed on both sides and the foot of the bed. The only concern is that it is advertised as a 2 bath when the mater bath does NOT have a toilet. The master bath has a tub w/hand held sprayer (poor water pressure), and two sinks, but NO TOILET. We were concerned this would be an issue, but we soon got used to walking across the apartment to use the toilet. The other bathroom has a small sink, a good sized stall shower (we all ended up using this shower as it worked better and was easier/quicker than the tub).

This apartment is great for families with older kids.

Concerning the bathrooms and toilet, it is the first time we got this comment. We do advertise as a 2 bathroom and 1 toilet in the apartment. We asked our American friends and it seems cultural habits are different In France. Bathroom doesn’t necessarily include toilets. In this case, 1 toilet is in the first bathroom and there is no toilet in the other bathroom. We hope to host you again in Paris in one of our other apts. Sincerely, JN

Great find!

The apartment if very clean, felt secure and is conveniently located. As others have mentioned, we got our deposit back very quickly. The reason that I give it a 4 instead of a 5 is that the internet and TV weren't working for our entire visit.
