Great location near the best of what NY has to offer
Terrific location, near great food, theater, vibrant happening area, quiet and private home!
We stayed here to be close to Rockefeller center and the Times Square area. It was an easy 15 minute walk right up 9th to get to the "hot spots". The apartment itself is in a nice, quiet, seemingly very safe neighborhood. There are many options for restaurants right outside your door step. There are many parking garages within 1-2 blocks if driving in like we did. The apartment was very clean and definitely more spacious than a hotel room. It can easily fit 4 people with no issues. The owner was very easy to work with and quickly responded to our texts upon arrival. I would highly recommend staying here.
Great location. Very Clean and Tiffany was very easy to work with. Plenty of room and love the kitchen area with big table!!!
My sister and I had a wonderful trip to the city. The location of the apartment was perfect for us. We felt safe and comfortable. Everything was just as advertised. Tiffany made everything easy and was quick to respond via text message.
This studio was a great refuge to come home to after days filled sightseeing, eating and attending shows. Good bed, sheets and shower! My daughter's and mine first visit to the city-felt very safe and no outside noise -just two blocks off busy area. Great wine bar and Amish Market just down the street!
My family was fortunate to stay in 2 units in this building! Tiffany is a very accommodating host and has provided clean, safe, very reasonably priced units in the awesome Hell's Kitchen neighborhood. It's on a quiet, tree-lined street, close to hundreds of great restaurants and shops on 9th Ave and about a 5 minute walk (10 minutes toward the end of the week because we were so exhausted from seeing so much!!!) to the 50th St. C&E train station, which goes uptown along the west edge of Central Park, or downtown all the way to the 9/11 Memorial.
Every time we travel, we expect to have glitches, and this was no exception. Through no fault of the owner's the DirecTV signal was lost, so there was no TV(DirecTV has very slow response times for repair). But, I always bring an HDMI cable and my laptop, so we vegged at night with some Netflix! (We didn't go to New York to watch TV anyway.) The owner was very accessible through texting, and once, when we lost the wifi signal, she connected us to a new router in 5 minutes! Her properties are all in the same building, this beautiful old brown stone with tons of character that made us feel like resident New Yorkers! It's such a safe neighborhood with people coming and going at all times of the day and night. We always felt at ease with our fellow sidewalk pounders! We got cupcakes at Amy's Bread, had an incredible Lebanese meal at Gazala Place (I recommend the chicken kebabs with the tihini), gorged ourselves on the "$1 per slice" pizza at the "$1 per slice" pizza place, had two great lunches at Uncle Mario's (this pizza will knock you out), got incredible produce at the Amish Market, got our Ben and Jerry's Phish Food every night from the Hudson Market, found foot ailment products at the Duane Reade (Walgreens)
We used Uber to get from Laguardia (and to return 6 days later). Wonderful experiences. And very reasonable. Coming in: $49. Going back: $42 (difference is in the traffic).
Thanks, so much, Tiffany, for the most fantastic birthday experience we've ever had! We hope to come back again next year.
The studio apartment is very comfortable and the location is fantastic. However i would consider providing TWO rolls of toilet paper and a roll of paper towels for the kitchen. To skimp on some thing like TP seems a little silly. I also don't understand what the tip jar is for? Is that for the owner of the unit or the person who cleaned it before we got there and cleaned it after we left? there was not a daily cleaning service which of course i didn't expect, but i haven't seen a tip jar before.
The apartment is centrally located and is within Walking distance of Central Park, Broadway, Times Square, Lincoln Center, Restaurants,. In the center of it all!
