Lake Noquebay is a 2,400 acre lake which contains Bluegill, Sunfish, Perch, Bass, Northern Pike, Walleye and Muskie. Lake Noquebay accommodates your water activities such as boating, fishing and waterskiing.
We are originally from Illinois and started vacationing on Lake Noquebay at Ahle's Resort in 1978. We loved it here so much we built our home on land adjacent to Ahle's Resort in 2001 and have lived here ever since. Upon the death of Doris Allen I became sole owner of Ahle's Resort and have since completely rebuilt the inside and outside of Cabin 10 into a modern cottage.
Chris Roger purchased this cottage in 2012
We wanted to continue this cottage in honor of Doris Allen, proprietor of Ahle's Resort, who passed away in 2010. We hope to continue the legacy of Ahle's Resort established in 1895 into the next century.
A most beautiful lake with excellent fishing, scenic sunrises, star-filled skies, and CLEAN AIR!!!
This lovely cottage is always sparkling clean and comfy! Everything in the cottage is spotless, well kept, and it's well supplied with dishes, linens, games and everyday things. Quick hot water for showers & dishes. We love our relaxation on beautiful Lake Noquebay; there is plenty of room inside and on the porch, and room to store our belongings. Lots of grass, and you can choose whether you want sun, or shade under the oak trees when you are outside. The bald eagles kept us entertained some days. And of course Chris & Reg are wonderful hosts. We love staying here.
It's hard to believe that we left Chris's Cottage a week ago. Our time up there just flew by. I've been a visitor on Lake Noquebay since the late 60's, and still love being able to stay at this cottage. Everything inside & out is still brand-new, well kept and clean. Plenty of closet space for us two, for 2 summer weeks - plus dressers, and a shelved armoire. We love watching the beautiful lake from the screened-in porch, but when it's too hot & humid it's so nice to retreat into the air-conditioning! Or dip in the lake. Plenty of restaurants with good food in the area, in town & out in the rural areas. Thanks again Chris & Reg, you two are just the best!
We had another excellent stay at Chris's Cottage. We stayed last summer and were happy that we were able to stay here again this summer. We can't get over how nice everything is for a rental. The nice Tupperware worked great for any leftovers we had. The board games came in handy again for our girls when we had some rain on Saturday morning. The screened porch comes in great for storing things you don't want to drag into the cottage while you are there or just being outside when you don't want to deal with bugs.
Thank you Reg for the advice on the Sky Harbor 2 café as well. We stopped there for the breakfast buffet on our way out Sunday morning. The pricing on the food there is very affordable. Thanks again Chris and Reg for being such great hosts and making sure we had a great stay.
The place was great all updated, like new. Fishing was good. Perfect for 4 people.
I've been coming to Lake Noquebay my entire life (born 1968). My grandparents and parents have homes only a few blocks away, so I grew up enjoying everything the lake has to offer. I never stayed at Ahle's Resort but spent many summers playing with other kids who visited annually. This was my third year staying at the new cottage. I rent a week each August with my wife and young son. While we have the cottage, my sister as well as a few of our friends, will come up from the Milwaukee area to spend a few days with us. The cottage is absolutely perfect in every way. The owners did an amazing job.
The beds are comfortable, the shower has endless hot water, and the kitchen is user friendly. We bring 2 boats each year and spend most of our time fishing and tubing. After a long day on the lake, it's nice to come back to the cottage and relax in the shaded front yard or the screen porch. There is a fire pit by the lake and plenty of wood to burn.
We have an incredible time here and plan on coming back every year. My wife and I enjoy coming here so much that we got married in the front yard. I highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to spend time on Lake Noquebay. The owners are readily accessible to help with any questions or concerns. The fishing is great and there is plenty to do both on and off the water.
We came in for a family get together and this cottage was recommended as we couldn't get everyone into my sister's place. Holy cow!!!! The beds were OUTSTANDING; great mattresses & bedding that led to quality sleep (I actually felt better after the vacation than before!) The bathroom was outstanding - good towels make such a difference! Also, there was a magnifying mirror, hair drier, curling iron, soap, everything. Beach towels and games in the closet, lovely dishes and glassware; every detail was taken care of. In addition, the cottage was perfectly clean (unbelievable). My husband did his fantasy football draft using the owners' available WIFI, which was of major importance to him. When I woke up in the mornings there were loons, kingfishers, eagles right out the picture window. I wish we could have stayed longer! It is easy to get into Crivitz, and the lake is beautiful. If you take a morning walk or run you are likely to run into a family of deer. Also, there is a lovely screened in porch looking out at the lake. Thank you to the Owners for putting so much care into this cottage on the lake! (I forgot something and they called me right away so we came back and got it. Much appreciated!)
