Great views, convenient location nothing fancy but clean

Stayed with husband, 11 month old baby and mother. Overall was happy with the condo- clean, great views and good location. We found it very noisy- sirens are constant and loud and can hear the people down on the ball fields below. Pool was cold but ok, hot tub broken but a nice area to sit outside and use BBQ. Only 1 of 3 elevators worked so that got annoying. Be prepared to buy everything you need if you plan on cooking (dish soap, tin foil, spices, etc). Was awesome to have a play pen, cooler and beach stuff there to use along with the washer and dryer! Overall we were happy with everything and enjoyed our stay.

Owner's Response: ((( **** FOUR STARS!****))) Thank You!!! Yes! Great views, convenient and clean! Waikiki is an overall very transient neighborhood most of which are hotels and a high rate of activities. I think there is a scheduled parade through Waikiki at least once a month! So, if you are seeking a quiet get a way, you may want to go the other side of the island. Go to our company website and seek KoOlina. But, Waikiki is the thrills and excitement and the heartbeat of tourism. We were able to lower our rate in the month of October being that it is typically the slow season. Unfortunately, the tourism industry knows this and have scheduled all it's capital improvements for this time of year. This includes elevator type of services and upgrades. You have a lot of major hotels schedule their furniture replacements and other work too. But on the upside, most of the airfares are low and hotel rates are low too! Left over spices is really usable, ie., salt, pepper and condiments. Most would not care if it was used by previous guests and have half a bottle left and not go to waste. But, we made the decision to not keep any leftovers to keep any type of pests away and also to have a fresh feel and not feel like you are touching someone else "stuff". We donate some left goods to needy and try not to throw away good stuff. We even place brand new sponges to use for dishwashing. We will look into why there was no dishsoap. We have large refillable in the closet with the other cleaning products. But, yes, thanks for pointing out these items to give our future guests a heads up on spices. As a side note, we pac n play is upon request and a nominal delivery fee. Beach stuff is left by past guest. We sometimes discard beach items left behind that is not in very good condition. Beautiful gettaway in Hawaii

Myself, my daughter and family friends stayed at a penthouse we booked in Waikiki. The

view was unbelievable. We were within walking distance from practically everything. Behind

our penthouse was the canal. We took advantage of a nice hour walk every morning up and

down the canal. The penthouse was very relaxing after a day of travelling around. It was very

spacious and comfortable. There was a pool on the sixth floor that we didn't take advantage of. The beds definitely needed attention. The matresses were somewhat hard on our backs.

In one room there were bunk -like beds that were small and uncomfortable. All in all, well worth the money to have the penthouse.

Modern and Roomy!

The penthouse room I stayed at is updated with a modern touch and the views are great! The place was clean, roomy and the kitchen was fully furnished.The beach and shopping options are minutes away. Customer service was very good as they attended promptly to my booking issue. The rest of the building, however, is a bit outdated as others stated. There's a pool but it's very basic. The lobby has a bar, club, and small store. Parking is typical for Waikiki but if you're lucky you can park along the reservoir/river outside. I would not mind staying here again.

Excelente vista y amplia unidad

La unidad se ubica en un piso 41 y tiene unas magnificas vistas hacia el este de Honolulu. Las habitaciones y la unidad en general son amplias y cómodas. La ubicación es muy buena, a pasos de la hermosa zona comercial de Waikiki, con restaurantes y buenos negocios.

Como defectos solamente mencionar que el edificio es algo antiguo y mal mantenido, lo que se nota en los pasillos y en el lobby. Por otro lado, las ventanas de la unidad tienen cortinas traslucidas, y con tantos ventanales a las 5.30 a.m ya no se podía dormir por la luz de sol que entraba.
