Creekside Sealoft in Harbour Town
Newly renovated Sealoft along Stoney Creek with views of Calibogue Sound. This wonderful tree house is located 12 feet above an adjacent tidal creek and salt marsh. From the two decks you can see deer, birds, kayakers, and magnificent sunsets, as the creek rises and falls twice a day with the tide. Located on Deer Island, our home is a 2 minute walk across a quaint wooden bridge to all the dining and entertainment options of Harbourtown. Walk to breakfast, lunch dinner or drinks. World-class golf, tennis and water activities are literally a few steps to the heart of Sea Pines.
The 8 sided tree house is located on Deer Island, a heavily wooded and natural island with direct access to Harbourtown. The location affords privacy and quiet, with nature views all around. The tree house has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. Bedrooms have cathedral ceilings and hardwood flooring. All other living areas have stone tile flooring. Living room includes a queen sleeper sofa, 52' HDTV and cathedral ceiling. Wireless high-speed Internet is available. Sea Pines has over 17 miles of bike trails, with easy access to South Beach, the Beach Club, shops and restaurants.

Prettiest, lovliest "tree house" we have ever been in.
Saw the picture of this tree house in Sea Pines last year, 2017, as we were fleeing Tybee Island in February as it had not really recovered from the 2016 October hurricane and the place we had rented was an absolute mess. Called Ed Cordes on Hilton Head Island and he agreed to rent it to us the next day with no questions asked. That says much about Ed Cordes and his generous nature and personality. This sea loft sits almost over an estuary off Calibogue Sound with a partial view of the sound from the loft. It is absolutely beautiful with visits from all kinds of sea birds, deer, mink, and on occasion, dolphins as the tide comes in the estuary. The loft's kitchen is well equipped, the living room area large and comfortable, and there are two bedrooms (one with twin beds and the other with a full bed) and two full bathrooms. It is tastefully decorated, clean, and well maintained with large floor to ceiling windows facing the estuary for beautiful views of fish jumping in the water, fowl, and sunsets. Occasionally a tiny frog or Gecko will visit you as you sit on the upper and/or lower decks. Quietness prevails and the loft is well placed from the other lofts in the area. There is also a laundry/storage room on the bottom area of the loft and several well maintained bikes for use along with paraphernalia for their maintenance. The surrounding area of Sea Pines is lush and well maintained with miles and miles of level bike/walking paths to the various areas of Sea Pines and Harbour Town that has shops and a marina with tour boats and kayak rentals.
We stayed two weeks last year, three weeks this year, and have reserved three weeks next year which we may turn into four weeks if possible. As you can tell, this place is a dream come true for us northerners in winter. Although we are not golfers, there are numerous golf courses for lovers of that sport which it seems many are who vacation at Sea Pines.
Thank you for the review, always happy to have returning guests.
A great vacation
The property is perfectly placed near Harbour Town. It has a short and pleasant walk for coffee in the morning and ice cream at sunset. The house had everything we needed and a couple of bonuses we don’t normally see in a rental property. Be sure to take advantage of the fresh, local seafood, the well equipped gas grill, and the fantastic deck for your private waterfront dining experience. The owner was quick to respond to our booking request and got our week reserved without any trouble at all. It was everything we hoped for in a Hilton Head vacation.
We enjoyed having you and are glad you had a relaxing vacation.
We had a wonderful week with some quality family time. Your villa was the perfect location for my two teenage sons to fish in the creek. You have a beautiful villa!
Thank You! glad you enjoyed the week, and hope they caught some blue crabs.
We very much enjoyed are stay at the Creekside Sea Loft Villa. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed and more. It was very Peaceful and Relaxing. Close to Harbor town but yet secluded. Excellent property, and would highly recommend it for all. Thanks to our owner for sharing your home with us.
Thank you very much for staying with us, and for posting a review. It is much appreciated
Wonderful in Every Way!
This was our second time to stay in this beautiful sea loft, and we sincerely hope it will not be our last! My daughter, one of her friends, and I enjoyed a week here over the kids' college spring break. When we decided to take this return trip to HHI, my daughter wanted more than anything to return to this sea loft, and I had to agree. We love the location of this sea loft! It's right on the the creek with beautiful views of the sound from inside the sea loft and from the deck. We saw lots of wildlife including bald eagles. We enjoyed cooking many of our own meals in the well equipped kitchen and eating them on the beautiful deck. The whole sea loft is just lovely and had everything we needed. The bikes were great; we used them every day to go to the beach, ride the trails, and visit local shopping areas. Ed (the owner) was just fantastic to work with! He was prompt in responding to emails, super friendly, and incredibly accommodating! All three of us had a fantastic time and only wished we could have stayed longer.
Thank you Lynn, we love return guests, and hope you will stay with us again. Thank you also for being so accommodating during the construction of our new patio and lower deck. Please contact me the next time you plan to head to HHI.
Nice house with amazing view
Nice little house on a very secluded part of the island, yet conveniently close to shops and fun in Harbortown. Amazing view (with sunset) over the small river and salt marsh area. Central A/C was definitely needed, and worked fine, despite 100 F outside. 2 bathrooms, both with tubs (our kids loved the little one). Plenty of space for a family of four. Lots of beach tools, chairs etc. for us to bring and the kids to enjoy. The porch outside was beautifully located over the marsh, unfortunately it was to hot for us to enjoy it. I highly recommend this.
Thank you for staying with us, and for taking the time to provide a review. As my wife likes to tell everyone, "we own an amazing deck with a house attached". Glad you enjoyed your time in Hilton Head
