About the property

This private studio cottage offers all the convenience of a hotel room yet is quietly tucked away in the heart of the historic district in the most sought after 'South of Broad' district. We are conveniently located just 2 blocks from the beautiful Charleston harbor and White Point Gardens, and are within walking distance to most downtown shopping, restaurants and entertainment.

The cottage itself features beamed ceilings, has a queen sized bed, is furnished with antiques and fine linens, has a beautifully newly renovated bathroom, views of the light filled garden and fountain, and free street parking for 1 car right on front of the property - a rarity in downtown Charleston! There is a small fridge and a coffee maker including cups, saucers and wine glasses. We have free wifi, cable and are very pet friendly.

Quiet, Comfortable Cottage Convenient to Historic District

  • 5 of 5

Nestled behind the main house which itself is on a quiet street in a stricly residential neighborhood, the cottage is a perfect base from which to explore Charleston. We walked to everything that we wanted to do and see. There is also a free green line "Dash" bus stop a few blocks away if you would prefer to ride some. The picture with the listing is exactly how we found the cottage, clean and bright. We will definitely stay there again when we return to Charleston.

Private, Great location!

  • 5 of 5

This cottage is perfect for a couple. Clean and comfortable and an easy 10 minute walk to Broad Street or the Riverfront. We were able to park our car near the cottage and walk everywhere. Ann was a gracious and accommodating hostess and lives next door if you need anything.

We would definitely stay here again when returning to Charleston.

Cozy, private, clean.

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at the cottage for a weekend to attend a music festival.

The cottage is lovely, very cozy and clean. We enjoyed the outside table and chairs to drink coffee and read. Our daughter who lives in Charleston could join us there and relax with us outside. We especially enjoyed the coffee maker, and Ann provided coffee cream for us. My husband found the long distance walk from the parking lot to the music festival venue very hard on his bum knee, and Ann graciously lent us her bikes to make the trek easier the 2nd day. Thank you for your hospitality.

A Doggie Paradise

  • 5 of 5

We visit Charleston every year for our wedding anniversary and this year we decided to bring our dog with us. We had a blast and truly loved this little cottage in its idyllic and quiet neighborhood. Ann was so accommodating and very flexible with our check in and check out time. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a tennis ball and some doggie treats. Our large Lab bounded in and was so happy to run around and play fetch. The battery is super close and easily accessible for walks. We took our dog for a daily morning walk and grabbed a Nespresso coffee on the way out. The only thing was that I was disappointed we didn't get a chance to use the bikes! We will definitely be back soon! Thanks Ann!

Beautiful Cottage and Great Hosts

  • 5 of 5

It was such a pleasure to kick back and relax in Charleston in this lovely cottage. We were very impressed that all the details were considered. The hosts were very thorough with directions on accessing the property and I loved the fact that instructions were even made out for the coffee maker and air conditioning unit- no guesswork needed. The setting was very quiet and peaceful. We had a great time and would definitely go back .
