About the property

1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom, Sleeps 2

The house, named Ca’ Sartori, is situated in santa croce district, one of the most typical areas of venice. Very easy to reach, being located at few minutes walk from the railway station and from piazzale roma, main parking spot and bus stop from the airport.

Ten minutes away from Rialto food market, on the way you can enjoy restaurants, nice cafés, supermarkets, fruit and vegetable stands and little stores selling local products.

Ca’ Sartori s a warm and comfortable self catering apartment of approx. 50 square meters. Ideal for one couple or family with kids, sleeps up to four people.

The house is located on the ground floor of a newly refurbished building, at the end of a lovely quiet little street, at 1 minute walk from the closet public transportation (vaporetto) stop.

When entering the apartment, you will find a large room composed by the living-room and the kitchenette, fully equipped with anything you need for a very comfortable stay.

The living room is furnished with a very comfortable sofa bed that will be perfect for 2 kids or an adult, an armchair, tv, a wide set of local guides and international books and a wooden dining-table with four chairs. The kitchenette is provided with fridge, freezer, the stove and a huge variety of pots and pans to enjoy local food, directly cooked at home!

The bedroom, overlooking a quiet inner court, provides a large double bed, a chest of drawers and a wardrobe. In the bathroom you will have at your disposal a washing machine and a very comfortable shower.

Wonderful spot

  • 5 of 5

Stayed hear for 2 nights before getting on our cruise ship. The location is great. Close to everything. but far enough from realto and st marks. lots for resturants and cafes within a short walk without getting to lost. St marks and realto are 15- 30 minutes once you get oriented. Tanja met us as planed and showed us to the flat. Only 4 bridges to cross with luggage. In hind sight we were very happy after seeing people trying to find hotels with luggage in tow. Return trip is a breeze to get to cruse ship. 10 minute walk and then the people mover to the port.

Very clean. found grocery store very close by for some breakfast food. Overall we had no complaints

Thanks Ingrid for being very organized. We are very appreciative.

Perfect Honeymoon Spot

  • 5 of 5

This apartment was perfect for my wife and I while on our honeymoon. The apartment was clean and the bed was comfortable. The WiFi was reliable. The apartment is in a quiet neighborhood with one of the best pizza restaurants I have ever eaten at. The best thing about this rental property is the Host. Ingrid is an amazing woman. She had a lady, Mrs. Sandra meet us at the train station and escort us to the apartment. Everything was explained and a book of information provided (most helpful). There are grocery markets near by that have everything you may need. When we left, my wife discovered she had left her iPad in the apartment. Ingrid has spent many hours, working to get the iPad shipped back to USA in the (not an easy task with customs and security). She was so helpful and we are so grateful. She really cares about her guest and them enjoying their stay. Grazie!!!!

Cozy little home to explore Venice

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here from Nov. 20-22, 2015, and enjoyed it a lot! Miss Sandra met us at the train station and showed us the way, checked us in. Very helpful. Ingrid was very helpful ahead of time with our questions. Not a large space, but very adequate for us and our teenage daughter.

Ideal if you arrive by train

  • 4 of 5

We stayed in this main apartment for the three days we visited Venice. It was very handy to the train station which nice for lugging out suitcases - only one bridge to go up and over right at the station. Miss Sandra met us for our arrival and quickly showed us the route, a couple places to eat and the apartment specifics.

Walking the labyrinth of Venice streets can be quite an adventure so make sure your phone plan has been activated for map tacking. After two trips to San Marcos we knew our way.

The place was quiet and at the end of a short alley. We never heard a neighbour and so sleep came easy - could have been all the walking we did too.

There are two really good places to eat on either side of the alley - Osteria Alba Nova & Pizzeria Trattoria all'Anfora.

If I had to make one suggestion it would be to renovate the shower area of the bathroom. Just starting to show it age otherwise the place fit the bill just wonderfully.

Enjoy Venice as I am not sure there is another place quite like it.

Venice

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at the apartment for 2 nights after a cruise. The owner was extremely helpful in the booking process. She sent a person to meet us after we left our ship. The woman walked us to the apartment and showed us all of the amenities. The location is only a 7 minute walk from the train station and is tucked into the back corner of an open alley. The apartment itself was clean, cozy and quiet. Not large (much bigger than most european hotel rooms), but big enough for our family of four to be comfortable. It had everything you needed for a home away from home including a clothes washer. Also there is a great pizza shop steps outside the front door. Great stay, great host, will book again next time we are in Venice!
