Lovely stay in the duplex!

  • 4 of 5

We had two grandparents, two parents and our 7-year-old son in one side of the duplex. Plenty of room, as long as one couple doesn't mind having their bedroom in the living room. Everything was as advertised. We had only minor irritations, but that's why I only gave 4 stars. We would stay there again!

Example of minor irritation: It was a bit odd that they don't provide filters for the coffee maker. A bit of a bummer trying to improvise a basket filter after using the one prefilled coffee filter (again, exactly as advertised), which made for pretty weak coffee for four people. We ended up buying a big box of filters at the nearby Mazama store and leaving them there. Enjoy.

Owner's Response: Thank you for staying with us at Timberline Meadows. We appreciate that you have taken the time to write a review on your stay with us. Just for future reference, we do supply coffee filters along with other paper products (toilet paper, paper towels). If you find items missing that you feel should be included, do not hesitate to call our office (number on all your paper work and the guest book inside the rental) and if it is an item we supply it will be given promptly as our office is on site. Thank you again, and we hope to see you again soon! Vicki

Great experience!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Timberline Meadows while attending the Winthrop Blues Festival. We enjoyed the quiet solitude and setting of our cabin and found it to be clean and comfortable with all of the needed amenities. Would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone who wishes to enjoy the beauty of the Methow Valley.

Great rural cabin stay!

  • 5 of 5

Serenity, fantastic vistas welcoming owners are what you will find at Timberline Meadows! We recently made our second stay in one of the many cabins available. After a amazing drive over the North Cascades we were again welcomed with a warm, clean cozy cabin! We enjoyed exploring and visiting Winthrop on this trip. Thank you we will be back! G&P

Timberline Meadows

  • 4 of 5

We liked our stay at The Mountain Shadow cabin.

Only suggestions would be to add a wax bench in the waxing hut. Vicki very kindly offered to bring a heater for comfort, but without a wax bench, one can't do an adequate job waxing. The reason for our trip was to XC ski, and having access to a waxing room is necessary.

Vicki was very helpful when we called with questions, checking in/out was easy; the cabin was clean.

A few times there was not enough hot water for showers for all 4 of us.

I will make a suggestion at our next Homeowner's Association Meeting to purchase a Wax Bench. Thank you again and we hope you will visit us again.
