This cabin was very clean. In a great location and had everything we needed! Very fast response to questions and I also got a call before we got there making sure we had received any and all information we needed upon arrival. Absolutely beautiful views! Can't wait to stay here again!

Excellent place for several families to come together!!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great vacation 4/1/17-4/8/17. We had family from Atlanta area, Tallahassee, and Clearwater all together. There was plenty of room to be together and to get away if you needed a moment to yourself. We did have a couple of maintenance issues that were handled promptly when we notified the office.

Remember to lock the deadbolts on the doors on the main floor when you go to bed. Apparently bears can open knobs because we had a family of 4 (momma and three not too young cubs) make themselves at home in the kitchen about 3:00am Tuesday morning. They stole a pack of Oreos and went through the trash, which they made a complete mess of. They were fairly easy to scare off, in their own time, but it was a frightening situation you don't want to find yourself in. They hung out on the porch for another thirty minutes checking the doorknobs and climbing on top of the hot tub to drink some standing water from the rain.

There was a strong sewage-like smell in the main floor bathroom, that at times permiated the whole upstairs. Maintenance is aware of the problem, but were unable to alleviate it during our stay. It wouldn't keep us from staying again. But hopefully it will be fixed quickly.

All in all, we would recommend this cabin to anyone who needs a place for 10-12. It is convenient to everything. Split between 4 families, it was very affordable, and the money we saved by eating most meals at the cabin allowed us to have some adventures we might have excluded otherwise.

It's the mountains, so take clothes for all weather, even if you don't think you need it. Our first few days were warm and sunny, then all day rain, then freezing temps with snow in the mountains.

Perfection with a view

  • 5 of 5

Our children chose this cabin for our 50th wedding anniversary trip. Our children, their spouse and their children all joined us for a week of fabulous memories. The view is breathtaking from all porches, the cabin interior design combines the perfect layout for our group ages from 17-69, allowing each age group to have their own space in this functional design with aesthetic cabin decorations for the perfect log cabin interior . The pictures do not do justice to this property. I have seen posts about parking, but we entertained one evening and parked 2 full size trucks and 2 full size SUV's in the allotted area. The cabin was clean, well equipped and spacious. We always received quick and helpful responses to all of our inquiries before and during our trip. I have nothing to say but accolades for this property.
