About Jude Oliveri Burde
We live in the 'big city' just 2.5 hours away but most days we are dreaming about being at the beach. We welcome you to our home and hope you love the Carolina blue skies as much as we do.
Jude Oliveri Burde purchased this House in 2006
Why Jude Oliveri Burde chose Oak Island
Oak Island is one North Carolina's best kept secrets with its ten miles of beach and its Southern charm.
What makes this House unique
Sit on the front porch in one of the two classic NC rocking chairs, listen to the birds singing in the majestic live oak trees or watch the ever changing cloudscape. Relax in the screened porch overlooking the landscaped gardens with a nice cold glass of NC 's favorite beverage, sweet tea.

Wonderful place to stay.
The home is comfortable & beautifully decorated. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking at home. Loved the back porch and gardens. The neighborhood is quiet. We will definitely return.
loved perfect little beach cottage!!
This was our 2nd stay at 'Perfect Little Beach Cottage' and we loved it just as much as the first time! The cottage was very clean and tastefully decorated. The screened in back porch was great for reading and relaxing. A short drive over Middleton bridge and we were at the beach access...maybe a 5 minute drive. The owner responded to all of my emails promptly. She also sent and email prior to our visit with suggestions of restaurants and things to do in the area.
We love OKI so much that we are planning to move there next year and were in town looking at houses and property. Can't wait to make OKI our home :)
We would definitely recommend 'Perfect Little Beach Cottage' and will stay there the next time we are on the island!
We had a wonderful stay!
The queen bed and sofas were very comfortable. The whole house was one of the cleanest places we've ever stayed. Beautiful and peaceful. Loved it!
Wow! Really great place!
The property is nice and comfortable. We really enjoyed our time here. The kitchen is stocked with everything you would need.
Only 1.5 miles from the nearest beach access point , just a few minutes by care.
Oak Island has so much to offer the vacationer any time of the year. Why not take the Southport ferry over to Fort Fisher? Getting there by boat is half the fun. You can visit the North Carolina Aquarium and /or Fort Fisher Civil War Museum.
Historic Southport on the Cape Fear river has many options for the visitor. You could easily spend a day in charming Southport visiting the NC Maritime Museum, antiquing in the many shops, taking the historic 1 mile walking tour and having lunch at one of the waterfront restaurants. Southport's 4th of July parade is one of the oldest in nation with a week long kick off, something you don't want to miss.
Tired of driving? Take the passenger ferry over to Bald Head, the car free island. Once there you can rent a golf cart or bicycle; be sure to visit Old Baldy, North Carolina's oldest lighthouse. Take a scenic flight in an antique bi-plane or skydive from Brunswick County Airport just over the bridge to the island. The area has so much to offer you will just have to keep coming back year after year to enjoy the many different attractions and activities.
