Home away from home
While working in the area, we rented this house and adjacent suite for a month. Being from TN, we had no idea of the beauty that Ojai offered. This house that Otis designed and built showed off his incredible modern and functional insights as well as his showcase of the mountain views off the awesome covered deck. Not that it rains here, but the shade of the deck was most welcome to lounge there every afternoon after work. The house was open and spacious and accommodated our group with their own bedrooms so each had their own retreat. The location just down the street from a major trail system was super convenient as was the short walk to town. Ojai is a quaint town full of cute shops and bistros in its mission style architecture. Thank you, Otis, for one of our more enjoyable stays with the great house and studio. It was perfect for our needs and way beyond our expectations!!!
Amazing property....best vacation ever!!!
Casa Verde is a unique, amazing property with incredible views from the deck, close to walking trails and downtown Ojai. My wife and I spent 5 weeks enjoying the house that Otis built.
The owner is terrific and was constantly helping us with suggestions for restaurants, hikes and local attractions.
We fell in love with Ojai.....we shall return!
Amazing guests - come back soon !
Otis has built a beautiful, modern home that overlooks the mountains. Such a lovely get away from the city-life. My girlfriends and I absolutely loved the main living space and cozy patio/deck area...we also really enjoyed sitting by the fire pit at night. Really great for larger parties, as there are enough rooms, but great spaces for lounging and hanging out together. We loved it!!
Beautiful, modern home with gorgeous views
Visited Ojai with old friends for a weekend wedding. This house was the perfect spot for a reunion, with great outdoor space, a bocce ball pitch, and enough room for 7 adults (and more). The house is beautiful and we all wished we had more time to hang out on the front porch. Very easy walk to downtown Ojai.
the place is straight out of "dwell" magazine. i wish we could have stayed for a month.
Perfect location - perfect house
near a great mountain path for hiking or bike riding and close to town. This is a modern and impeccable modern home that defines easy and gracious living. Beautiful views and scenery from the ample deck. Private yard and plenty of shade.
