The Royal Kuhio is located in the 'Heart of Waikiki'. You can walk to the beach and all Waikiki attractions. You are just minutes away from several fine restaurants, first-class shopping, and the most beautiful beaches.

You can take tours of all the popular tourist attractions on the Island of Oahu. This condo provides a free parking stall, so you can drive around the entire island and visit all the places you desire. It is a drive you will always remember because of its beauty and variety. This is your chance to visit Paradise!

This condo is one of the Penthouse Suites at the Royal Kuhio. It is very large with a full modern kitchen with a stove with an oven, large fridge with a freezer, a dishwasher and all utensils and pots and pans so you can prepare meals at the condo an save money.

The condo has two queen beds in the master bedroom, two full beds in the second bedroom and a sofa-sleeper. There are two full baths with all linens furnished. You will have a free parking stall located on the first floor of the parking ramp in the building. Parking usually cost $25 per night so you will be able to have a place to park your car free and go in and out anytime you desire.

The condo has two huge lanais with furniture to relax and enjoy the great views. You will have a fantastic ocean view from one lanai and a Manoa valley view from the other lanai. You will see beautiful rainbows in the valley. You can watch the fireworks show every Friday night from the other lanai. The night views and the sunsets are really colorful and unbelievable. You will remember the views forever. You will be just two blocks to the most famous beaches and world class shopping and restaurants. You can walk to the Honolulu Zoo, the Waikiki Aquarium, Duke's Statue and Kuhio Beach, and visit all the famous resorts and sites in Waikiki.

You can Pay by credit cards, cashier's check, or cash. Cashier's checks and E-checks do not have any additional fees. Please email me the payment method you desire. Credit card payments will be charged a 4% convenience fee which will be deducted from the security damage deposit when it is refunded.

Cancellation policy: Cancellations must be emailed 30 days prior to check in date. If you email your cancellation 30 days before your check in date you will receive a full refund of your deposit. Cancellations within 60 days are subject to forfeiture of full deposit and any other monies you have paid for your dates that you have reserved. We will try to re-rent your dates reserved so that we can make a refund to you. However, if the dates are not re-rented, your monies paid will be forfeited.

We would like to share this modern, totally new, luxury two bedroom, with others looking to experience or rediscover the charm and wonders of Waikiki and the beautiful natural beauty of Hawaii. Just on the next street is the 'Heart of Waikiki' lined with little shops, the international market place, and a wide variety of Eateries. Famous Kalakaua Avenue is adjacent to the great Waikiki beaches. It is an ideal place for 'people watching' or going to world class stores. Then there is the rest of the Oahu to explore!

Feels Like Home!

This was our first trip to Hawaii and the Royal Kuhio was perfect. We were on the 32nd floor with amazing views on each side. The home was clean and felt so much like being at our own home. All the needs were met and we can't wait to return to Hawaii again. We loved how well we were treated by Rob, our contact person who welcomed us to the Royal Kuhio. This is a real winner!!

Needs a freshens up, old and tired.

Good location and nice views from the lanais . The condo was very tired and needs a good makeover. A lot of the walls had scuff marks on them and it needs a good paint. The new floor tiles has to be the worse tiling job I have ever seen, with all of the floor area uneven. The stove is old and we could only get one of the hotplates to work. The sliding door off the main bedroom was nearly impossible to open, and one of the windows near the ensuite could not be opened. The air conditioners are all old with damaged switches and are very noisy. New air conditioners would be a great improvement. There were lots of bugs around the sink area and maybe flyscreens on the doors might help. I was pretty disappointed in the whole appearance of the condo. When you pay good money for the condo I was expecting a much nicer place.

Little cockroaches on the kitchen counter on a daily basis. Perhaps nesting in the toaster?

Ensuite bathroom shower growing mold

Washing machine also had ring of mold around the edge. We cleaned it ourselves before using it

No smoke detectors. Scary on the 32nd floor

Only 2 fobs/keys for the entire group

Very good location

The unit would need a bit of refresh (just a new paint would be good) but the location is perfect!! Overall I would definitely recommend the unit.

Good location; some minor/maintenance issues

We loved the location. The building was nice and clean. We were not told that the key card could be de-magnatized by being held too close to our cell phones and therefore experienced several frustrating days of not being able to get into the garage or elevator until the security guard finally figured out what was going on with our key. Please be sure to share this information with future renters.

As for our condo, in general it was a nice place to stay. However, here are a few items to note:

1) We had two sets of keys; the key on one set did not fit or unlock the deadbolt

2) the oven was dirty

3) one of the bar stools was loose and felt like it would fall apart when you moved it or even attempted to sit on it

4) air conditioners did not seem to be working efficiently; most likely need to be serviced

5) bathroom fans did not seem to be working efficiently and were clearly full of dust; definitely need to be serviced

6) instructions on how to use the washer would have been helpful

We would definitely consider staying there again.
