Guestbook comments from the owner

Great cabin at a great price for a larger family. We had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the cabin. The deck and seating is awesome and has a great view. If you are looking for a cabin that is comfortable and clean, Smoky Mountain Memories would be hard to beat.

Nice Cabin, well maintained. Great view, good location.

  • 5 of 5

I recommend this cabin for all those people that wants to enjoy Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, since it is very close to both. The Cabin is located on top of a mountain, with a great view of the valley below. We were a big party, but with 5 rooms, we easily accommodate on the house. Rooms were spacious and beds comfortable. We had no issues whatsoever, all was in order and functioning. Only advice is that if you go there during winter time, make sure your car is 4 wheel drive, as the roads are steep and if there is snow you may need it.

Gorgeous views

  • 2 of 5

The house itself is a bit worn. There is a full daylight gap under the door to the lower deck. The pool table is very worn! The kitchen was small and we have rented houses in the mountains with much better supplied kitchens. The dishes were not clean that we found in the cabinets...the pots & pans were very worn and some should be replaced.

The beams & walls could use a good dusting...as we saw dust every morning on the kitchen counters below the main living area beams.

The views are gorgeous...but for the number of bedrooms...the size of the family room is small.

Sadly..we won't be back :(

Smoky Mountain Memories!

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful view! Great cabin! Just needed some type of dresser or closet for the loft room and the lower-level double suite. Service response was excellent. Loved the screened-in porch. Cabin had well stocked kitchen items. All round great stay and view. Many happy memories were made and shared. Definitely will stay again!

Spectacular Mountain Views!!

  • 5 of 5

Our family had a wonderful stay at the cabin! It was nice, clean and secluded. We especially enjoyed sitting out on the decks admiring the spectacular views, listening to nature and even getting the occasional visit from a squirrel. If we return to the area, we will definitely consider staying here again!

Map

Car: necessary

Just 6.5 miles from Pigeon Forge and just 3 miles off of scenic Wears Valley Road (main road connecting Townsend Tn to the parkway in Pigeon Forge), which is the quite side of the Smokies and central to all of the attractions that the Smokey Mountains have to offer! Be at Dollywood or Dollywoods Splash country in just minutes. Or maybe spend the day in Cades Cove or Townsend water tubing, hiking, or maybe just a picnic. We enjoy the dinner shows in Pigeon Forge like Dixie Stampede or Hatfields and McCoys. We love the Island in Pigeon Forge which has many shops and restaurants and a huge all weather Ferris wheel. Go karts, zip lines, helicopter rides, thrill rides like Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster which is just a few minutes from the cabin. You are central to everything which is what we love and think you will to!
