Why Harry & Gabi Myer chose Sevierville

Because of the Majestic Mountain View!!!!

Guestbook comments from the manager

This place has breathtakingly view!!! My husband and I visit TN usually once a year, and we always rent a cabin or chalet. Found this one on Vacation Home Rentals, and after looking at the pictures and speaking with the owner, (who is a GEM, by the way!), we booked it for 6 nights. The view from the porch (or even from INSIDE the cabin) is just awe inspiring! (Makes you remember how great our Creator is, standing before these majestic mountains...) The cabin is perched high on the mountain top side, and is very private & cozy, but still just a short drive to Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg. The inside of the cabin is furnished with just about everything you could need, from kitchen utensils to extra blankets and pillows. All that YOU need to bring is your food & clothes! The beds were so-o-o comfy, and the ice cold AC felt so refreshing after walking around town in the heat all day! It stormed a couple afternoons while we were there and if you haven't been able to experience this from a mountain top in TN, you are missing out on something spectacular! Rainbows so bright that you could almost see the 'pot of gold' at the end! :) Another amenity we loved is that place is pet friendly. We have two miniature schnauzers that we took along with us, and there is a small grassy spot right behind the cabin for them to go potty. There is even a baby gate and a dog food bowl for the pets! How thoughtful is that? The best part of renting this cabin is the owner, who went above and beyond her responsibilities as a 'hostess'. Gabi is one of the sweetest people that I have ever dealt with, and truly CARED about our being comfortable and happy in her cabin. We will absolutely be renting this cabin from her & here husband again! Had a wonderful trip!!!

Beautiful view and great cabin!

  • 5 of 5

My family of 4 had a great time! Absolutely gorgeous view. Everything the previous reviews said it would be! Cabin was very clean and had everything you would need. Drive to pigeon forge was easy and didn't take too long. We enjoyed the hot tub every night which was very clean! Thanks so much for such a great cabin to enjoy!

"Million Dollar View" is an Understatement

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I recently spent four nights in this charming cabin, and can attest that when the weather permits, the view is amazing. The way the sunrise paints the sky orange as the blue mist rolls in over the foothills below will take your breath away.

Our days were spent exploring the nearby Smoky Mountains, and nights cozied up by the fireplace, playing some pool upstairs, or relaxing in the hot tub. Having come from a weekend of food and drink debauchery in Nashville, we were excited to cook our own dinner every night - something the cabin's well-stocked kitchen allowed for. There is a dishwasher and two packets of detergent were provided, which proved to be enough for us, though we did also buy some dish soap and a sponge of our own.

Communication with our host Gabi was great. Check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow. Plan on arriving at the cabin during daylight, at least for your initial check-in. The roads leading to it are steep and winding, and we made the mistake of traversing them after dark. Once you know the lay of the land (and when to keep your transmission in low gear), arriving home after dark isn't an issue. Just be sure to leave both porch lights on, it's quite dark up there otherwise.

Pigeon Forge is close, if that's your thing, but personally we found it and Gatlinburg to be very tourist-trappy. Our one guilty tourist pleasure was the Alpine Mountain Coaster, only about 10 minutes from the cabin. We enjoyed that so much we immediately did it a second time.

Though we remained relatively unplugged, there is satellite TV and (weak) WiFi internet - we had better luck posting photos to Facebook using our phone's data plans.

Love!

  • 5 of 5

Perfect cabin for the fall! We absolutely loved the views. We loved waking up in the clouds! The drive was a bit steep, but it’s totally worth it and just part of being in the mountains. Perfect area for being close to town, but feeling like you’re away from it all.

Beautiful view, quiet location, well-kept cabin

  • 5 of 5

Perfect getaway! Husband and I stayed for two nights but would've loved to stay a whole week. Peaceful, quiet area with gorgeous views from the huge deck. Cabin was very nice and clean, and the hot tub and pool table were nice to have as well. We loved that we were able to bring our dog, however we couldn't find any mountain trails where dogs were allowed unfortunately, (though that's obviously not this cabin's fault). We would definitely like to rent this cabin again in the future.

A very amazing stay!!!

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was beautiful and well kept! The view from upstairs was to die for! It’s close to other cabins but you can’t even see them and it’s perfectly close to town and the city, but far enough to overlook the nights at light and avoid the noise. We will be coming back without a doubt!
