Great accommodations for 6 guys who spent a week at the Brier.

  • 5 of 5

House was well appointed, clean, reasonably priced, and came with all the amenities (eg. foil wrap, dish detergent, towels, free long distance calling within Canada, etc.) that we needed. The owner was quick in responding to emails and ensuring all was in order for our visit. We were a 10 minute cab ride from downtown St. John's which amounted to $15 with a substantial tip. We highly recommend this house.

Great home full of character!

  • 4 of 5

We were in St. John's to go to a wedding. The VRBO location was very good- within 10 minutes drive to downtown and to the airport. An older character house that was well maintained and completely outfitted with the essentials. Good parking and easy to get to where you are going. I would highly rate this location for all your needs. St. John's is a great place to visit - full of character and history. A week isn't enough time to take everything in, but we enjoyed walking, hiking, sight seeing, museums, and night life. Wonderful experience!

Thanks Bill.

Fantastic home centrally located

  • 5 of 5

This VRBO was everything we hoped it would be. The home was equipped with everything we needed. Lots of space for two couples. We cooked some meals and found the kitchen to be well equipped with everything we required. The home was spotless when we arrived and the instructions Bill sent us before we left home were very detailed, so we had no issues or questions when we arrived. Thanks again Bill for sharing your home with us. The Saskatchewan Travellers!!!

Lovely house in good location

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here as a group of four; myself, my husband, our daughter and her boyfriend. We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is large and clean and well equipped with everything you need.

The location suited us well as we could walk downtown easily and was just a short stroll to Kenny's Pond where my mum lives.

We would definitely stay here again

Convenient and "At home" Feeling

  • 5 of 5

The home was just as described and perfect for our stay. It was conveniently located to shops, downtown and Memorial University. It was neat and clean. We felt right at home as soon as we stepped into the house. It was equipped with everything we needed and more for our stay. We would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

Excellent stay!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for 10 days. The first 5 days there were 6 of us and after that only 4. I was worried that it may be crowded with 4 adults and 2 teens but it definitely had ample space for all of us. Besides being in a great location, close to historical downtown, Cabot Tower, grocery stores it was close to our relatives home. With 3 large bedrooms there was enough space for luggage etc without tripping over it. Thoughtful things like plenty of clothes hangers, laundry soap, games, books to read really made us feel at home! The kitchen had everything you could possibly need and all the appliances were in great condition-big fridge with ice maker etc.

Some people may be bothered that the house is older-bathroom was a bit dated but we really thought the whole house was charming. We felt right at home. My one and only comment that was a bit of a bother and I'm sure its more of a personal preference was that the two back bedrooms that faced the back yard got very light, very early. Our bedroom had curtains over the windows but didn't really keep out the light so we just hung a blanket over the curtain rod. Same in the room with the twin beds-mini blinds in that room. Really not a huge deal and like I said, I just prefer a dark room for sleeping.

All in all, William was fantastic to deal with, phone calls and emails were answered quickly. We would love to come back and stay again!! Thank you Newfoundland for your hospitality :)
