3 bedroom, 2 bath home in quiet neighborhood yet close to everything!
Thank you for inquiring about our vacation home, 'The Coral Cottage'. This 1930 home has just finished a high end renovation with a Southern Coastal décor. It features a new kitchen with espresso cabinets and of course all of the utensils and cookery you could need to whip up a fabulous meal. NOTE: We have just finished a re-vamp of the cooking utensils and cookery and have made sure that a great meal can be made in the kitchen! The living room and dining room offer 12 foot ceilings and wood flooring with a driftwood look. NOTE: We have just put in a new comfortable sofa and added more seating to the living room. The master bedroom features a private en suite bath with white Carrera marble floors and large walk in shower. From your master bedroom you can step out onto a spacious deck over looking your lush and private yard. The master bedroom has a queen bed with a super comfy memory foam mattress, the 2nd bedroom has a pillow top queen bed and the third bedroom has a single bed. There is an inside laundry room with a full size washer and dryer. Only about 5 to 10 minutes by car to downtown Tampa, Tampa General Hospital and St. Joe's Hospital, Raymond James Stadium, and more. Our beautiful Gulf Beaches are about 30 minutes away. Maximum sleeping capacity is 6 people. Riverside Heights got its start in the 1920's and enjoyed a post World War II building boom. It is tucked along the eastern border of the Hillsborough River where homes on the water sell for upwards of over a $1,000,000. We live here and we love it and we're sure you'll love it too! PLEASE NOTE: We do not rent to anyone under the age of 25. We also do not allow pets or smoking in the home at any time. We also adhere to a maximum of no more than 5 total guests. We live close by if you need anything at all! Thank you.

About Leslie Sibbitt
My husband and I own this property and 4 other properties in the neighborhood. We love this urban Tampa community and being so close to great restaurants and shopping. I am a Realtor with Keller Williams South Tampa and my husband is an artist/photographer.
Leslie Sibbitt purchased this Bungalow in 1993
Why Leslie Sibbitt chose Tampa
My husband owned this property before we met and married. It sat empty for a long time and then we decided to renovate it.
What makes this Bungalow unique
We love this home because of it's quiet charm, and the lush yard with it's thick canopy of trees, and the great neighborhood feel of this community, plus it's central location to everything Tampa has to offer from the 2.5 mile Riverwalk, just about a half mile from this home where you can walk and rent bikes for a relaxing scenic day and the Gulf beaches that are about 30 minutes away.

Lovely rental in Tampa
Beautiful house, decor was lovely. Beds very comfy. Excellent area for visiting several sites. Close to several restaurants. Johns Pass was one of our favourites
Cottage provides many items to make your stay comfortable.
The Riverside Heights home was charming. When we arrived the key was in the box as promised which was a relief after airplane travel to Tampa and not using HomeAway before. We went in and began to familiarize ourselves with the place we would call home for the next week. My wife and I have a 3 and 1 year old. While she unpacked and nested I went to get supplies and food. When I returned she pointed out to me that the home was filthy. There was dirt all over the floors which transferred to little feet. There was pubic hair on the toilets and hair all over the showers and bathroom floors. There was a ton of dust, beer bottle caps and trash of all sorts under and around the furniture. There was a plethora of dirt and dust on all blinds and dust bunnies stuck in ceiling air conditioning vents. To top it off my Mother-in-Law laid down in the guest room bed; tired from the long journey and emerged from the sheets with someone else’s old, nasty tissue which was in between the sheets. When we inspected her bed and the master we found the sheets to all be dirty and unchanged from the last guest. The whole house was pretty disgusting! My wife stripped all the sheets and had to do laundry that night; which was exhausting after a long day of travel and very inconvenient. We cleaned the bathrooms also so we could use them. We called the owners and no one answered but it was 8-9pm. We all didn’t get to bed until midnight the first night thanks to the work we had to do to make the place habitable. The next morning someone called my wife and the property manager made plans to come clean the floors; which was the only thing we didn’t do the first night. After the House was cleaned, we enjoyed staying there. My main complaint and suggestion for improvement would be the master shower. It is a beautiful bathroom but the shower pressure is absolutely horrible. My wife couldn’t wash her hair and I couldn’t bathe my son either. The shower just leaks really; it doesn’t work at all and should be fixed! We loved Tampa and when we walked out of the home I was actually sad. We plan to return to the area and will consider staying again at this property but I would reach out to the manager before leaving and make sure it was clean. They did accommodate us when we let them know so I’m not mad but feel it is necessary to leave in the review since I’m not grading 5 stars. I’d like to add the home is nicely decorated and equipped with supplies but no wash clothes.
The cottage was cute- well equipped with all the necessities and the master bedroom mattress was excellent! We enjoyed the patio in the back and loved how close we were to various restaurants. The owners are very nice and are quick to handle any issues if they arise.
Comfy Tampa Bungalow
Even though we picked the worst possible weather (30's to 40's evening temperatures) to visit a Florida, our stay was comfortable and relaxing. Due to these cold temperatures, Leslie dropped from off two portable heaters to ensure our stay was warm and delightful. They did the job! We felt right at home at this unique bungalow and Leslie was extremely accommodating, respectful and kind when we called. It's perfectly located by all the sights in and near Tampa. We felt perfectly safe while staying at this lovely bungalow. What we enjoyed the most was relaxing on the back porch with a glass of ice tea and soaking in a little sun. It's also surrounded by the most beautiful, lush greenery. We affectionately referred to it as our bungalow in the jungle-alow. This bungalow had it all for an amazing price. We would definitely stay here again without hesitation.
