Looking right out of the pages of Dwell magazine, this brand new Blue Oak coach house unfolds in 2 levels with a European open concept kitchen, dining and living area. Impeccably appointed with thoughtful details and lots of windows to let in gorgeous light.

Architecturally designed, the Blue Oak has French doors that open to a southern exposed patio. Curl up with a good book by the fireplace or prepare gourmet meals in the fully outfitted kitchen. We offer all amenities of home with special touches.

Minimum stay is 3 nights during low season and 7 nights during high season. Also possible as a 2 bedroom rental during low season. Please inquire if your dates fall between reservations and we might be able to fit you in. Shorter stays are often available, pls inquire.

Saunter over to the Winter Farmers’ market on Saturdays at Nat Bailey Stadium, home of the Vancouver Canadians Baseball team, the chic shops at South Granville or hip stores on Main Street.

Have a great night's sleep in all of our 'Shangrila' Stearns and Foster queen size beds in all bedrooms.

Lovely Coach House

My family of six stayed in this lovely coach house for five nights in late November. The unit was tastefully decorated in a clean, modern style and was spotless at check-in. Helene touched base with us shortly after we arrived to walk through the home (and then thoughtfully touched base with us a few more times during our stay). Located just outside of downtown, the home is convenient to the Canada line and situated between VanDusen Gardens and Queen Elizabeth Park. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen and nice linens and towels. The fantastic reviews are well-deserved!

We'll be back again in the summer - this is a keeper!

We (a family of four) stayed at the Blue Oak for five nights on a pre-Christmas visit to Vancouver. The location was fantastic for us (close to family, shopping at Oakridge Mall and downtown as well as Canada Line ) and we liked that we had the whole cottage to ourselves. The cottage is beautifully decorated, well equipped and we were well looked after from start to finish. Loved our stay there and will be looking at making a reservation there for our summer Vancouver trip.

Stunning Place!

My family of 4 adults (parents and 2 adult children) have just returned from 6 nights at the Blue Oak, and we don't have enough good things to say about the home, the owners, the communication with the owners, or the location. The Blue Oak is located in a very quiet neighbourhood just a stone's throw from the beautiful Van Dusen Gardens, and just a short drive away from many other Vancouver sights. The home is outfitted with very high quality, comfortable beds/mattresses and high quality sheets and towels. We also appreciated the abundance of towels. Helene and Philippe have designed and decorated the space with attention to even the smallest details which help to make the place feel like home. In addition, the kitchen is very well stocked, making cooking easy. We have stayed in VRBO rentals around the world, and the Blue Oak is the nicest of them all, exceeding our expectations in every way! We have never seen a VRBO unit with such excellent reviews, and now we understand why. Thank you Helene and Philippe for sharing your beautiful place with us and taking such good care of us, including allowing us a later check out than we'd planned. This will be our place of choice when returning to the Vancouver area.

Immaculate comfortable house. Quiet neighborhood. Short drive to market & many restaurants.

Excellent property!
